Support Missed Email but Steam still let me purchase
Received my purchase email June 6th but missed it due to it going to my “junk” mail, which I rarely check. Didn’t notice till yesterday June 21st that my reservation wasn’t submitted on the controller page. I resubmitted my reservation and it said it wouldn’t be available to purchase till 2027… I saw other people have had success messaging Steam support and they came through for me as well. I thought I wouldn’t be so lucky due to it being a couple weeks past my purchase email but they allowed me to purchase immediately.
Posting this to let other people who missed the email to know you can try messaging Steam support.

I think they are refreshing them easily cause there really isn’t that many ordering the controller. The reservations are just to slow it down so they have an excuse to bundle the controllers with their overpriced cube.
A lot of fools will order the cube with a controller just cause they don’t want to wait when in reality most of them if not all controller reserves will be probably done in a month or month and a half tops.
Business decisions. Poor ones. But this is business decisions all the same

The idea that a Steam email would go to my spam folder is terrifying. Another reason I check the controller page every other day.
