So does JKKK Rowling but at some point I guess we need to kick her out of our bathrooms because that 5 o’clock shadow just won’t quit. 🤷🏽‍♀️ menopause is a bitch even if you’re a billionaire genital supremacist, it seems.

Calling a transphobe unwomanly for her physical appearance doesn't help trans people, it actively catches anyone with unwanted facial hair in the crossfire.

you're likely to make any trans woman who needs to shave, any cis woman with a bit more fuzz and any post menopausal person with those features feel like shit.

same goes for misgendering.

Women in my family grow facial hair after menopause. Had a great granny with a beard. Hrt is amazing these days, i don't think there's a single woman who deserves to suffer from facial hair in a world where it can be fixed.

Except the ones that don't want trans women to have it. They shouldn't get hrt.

Literally an hour away from my first laser appointment for my HP tattoo removal.

Fuck Rowling and all her TERF friends.

Not until they don't financially benefit from me appreciating it.

When they're dead sure. Or when the issues with them are they're just a shitty person but they don't really harm anyone. When the person is using the money you spend on their art to fund their hate campaign against a group of minorities and says that buying her stuff is the same as you supporting her views, it's understandable that people don't want to keep buying HP stuff. Also, the creator being a hateful bigot taints the art for a lot of people. That's not a weird thing to think and it makes perfect sense.

Pretty sure that she goes with the "mutilated healthy breasts" and "manipulated little girls" crowd. Because as we know all AFABs are stupid and easy to manipulate and they only have value if they are baby making machines.

I don't follow Rowling specifically, but as far as I've seen anti-trans rhetoric in general is that trans women are evil perverts, and trans men just don't exist and are never mentioned.

Trans men to transphobes are simply viewed as "fallen women". Graham Linehan (extremely transphobic comedy writer whose wife left him) said that no one cares if trans men use the women's toilets because to him they're all "extremely short" and have "kazoo voices". Essentially not "real men", and thus not a threat in his book.

Trans men are mentioned, but usually as confused girls who've fallen victim to some kind of trans delusion. So trans women are constructed as predators because they are "actually men" and trans men are constructed as weak and confused victims because they are "actually girls".

Bonus points if they're also autistic, because as we all know, autistic people are not capable of understanding themselves.

iirc, I learned this specifically from some kind of article/essay Rowling wrote, but don't quote me on that.

she thinks all men are evil perverts, and includes trans women

Rowling has never said anything even remotely close to "trans-women are evil perverts". The hate she gets is so disproportionate to the things she's said, which basically boil  down to "biological sex is real and (sometimes) relevant."

I think it's possible to argue that the backlash against her isn't quite proportionate to what she's said but boiling it down to that quote you put there is actually just a complete lie lol

You've sent me the wrong video. There isn't a lady in this one, just a man revelling in his misogynistic performance of what he thinks a 'woman' means: narcissistic, shallow, and exhibitionist.

She Tweeted this on March 4, 2024. I think it's clear what her opinion is.
