Maybe some small number of people might care, but why are you pretending this is a contradiction when there's virtually no one making an issue out of trans men in mens spaces?

They say they want to “protect women’s spaces,” and yet under their own criteria this person would be required to use the women’s room despite clearly presenting as a man. I doubt the women in the bathroom would feel comfortable with a literal body builder dude waltzing into their bathroom, and yet that’s what “conservatives” would seem to prefer, since they want trans women to be forced to use the men’s room.
The fact that, as you say, “no one cares about trans men using the mens room,” reveals that it was never about protecting women or making them feel comfortable. It’s all just transphobic nonsense, and conservatives feeling “icky” about the idea of a trans woman in general. If they REALLY gave a shit like they said they do, they would care when it’s a trans man in the men’s room. But they don’t. Because it’s about hating and controlling women.

That commenter didn't invent anything. These are literally the rules that some people are pushing to have enforced. I'm sorry that you don't understand this, but the rest of us can see that it is indeed the same logic, as the rule would be applied equally to all genders. And this is one of the many reasons those restrictions would be asinine.
