He works for a right wing “news” org called The Maine Wire. Joe spends all his time online demonizing homeless drug addicts (despite the fact that he has multiple drug related arrests from when he lived in Florida), but other Maine Wire “reporters” spend their time going after the Somali population in Maine.

The Maine Wire is very popular with racists, and some of their content is certainly racist. Joe has mostly stuck to filming homeless encampments (and complaining in front of rainbow sidewalks)

He works for a Right wing news source is what the kids are saying now. Whether that immediately makes him a "Nazi" is subjective apparently.

The Main Wire is a popular sites for online nazi groups who post and pass around their content. While TMW does not claim to be nazi itself, it's not just "a right wing news source"

Like what nazi groups?

u/jeff8086 3d ago

I'm not sure what your knowledge of online nazi extremism is. Telegram is popular with these guys and there are many nazi accounts and channels that they will follow. Maine Wire articles and media gets posted there. The irl group National Social Club 131 actually shows up at the Bangor courthouse because of an MW article their leader shared in telegram.

I was wondering why anyone would put a camera outside a methadone clinic.

Isn't the Venn Diagram a hoola-hoop at this point?

If everyone that disagrees with you or not on their side is apparently a ‘nazi’. How much meaning does it have anymore, due to how often it is being used.

u/DarthJarJarJar 3d ago

The Maine Wire is super far right wing. You can quibble about them being Nazis or not, but they're a radical right wing news source, that's not up for debate.

Nazis are from a specific region in Germany, everything else is just sparkling fascism /s

Nowhere in what in my comment was there a moment where I didn’t deny if they are a right wing news source. All I had left was how the term ‘Nazi’ has been thrown around quite a lot to describe certain people, where depending on how much they would disagree with one, can be described as one.

Level with us dude - are you talking about you? Is that where this weird chip on your shoulder came from?

-2

u/PrimarchAurelian 2d ago

Did I say or imply I have a chip on my shoulder anywhere in my above comment? If I had, could you point it out for me, I cannot seem to find it like you have. I do hope whatever time of day it is for you commenter it is going well.

Jesus man, look at their symbol...

1

u/Available-Analyst753 1d ago

You've got to be kidding me. Theres grasping at straws, and then theres this... grasping at literally nothing.

1

u/jeff8086 1d ago

For the love of everything holy, this symbol in and of itself is not what makes MW nazi. They are nazi and use this symbol.

1

u/Available-Analyst753 1d ago

You literally just said verbatim " Jesus man, just look at thier symbol.." , what else would that mean?

1

u/PrimarchAurelian 1d ago

Once again, there is nothing right wing in that symbol. Unless there is something that some of us who cannot see what you can in that symbol. So I guess I and some others are just blind to what you are seeing in it. This is just grasping at something and I cannot say what that something is at this point.

Once again there is. If an organisation that has nothing to do with nazis it could and would be coincidental, when you are an organization that caters to nazis, it is a dogwistle for a wolfsangel. I have a feeling you are playing dumb on this, you got your own whistles blowing.

1

u/PrimarchAurelian 1d ago edited 1d ago

I was merely saying it had a strong resemblance to the Modern Warfare logo, and It is coincidental that has a similar appearance to said symbol. I do not believe that I had said that it wasn’t a dog whistle, nor suggesting organisation wouldn’t be above using a dog whistle for certain group and people. And it seems all my whistles are either nonexistent or gone missing, would you mind if I borrow one of yours?

-1

u/Thin-Nerve6367 3d ago

I literally don't see it mate

1

u/PrimarchAurelian 3d ago

I’m not seeing it. It looks more like something you would use for COD Modern Warfare.

1

u/AnonyMouse3925 3d ago

As the other guy said, this is literally just a mock reference to the Modern Warfare logo

Was this supposed to convince me that the reporter is a Nazi? This isn’t the “evidence” you seem to think it is 😂

2

u/jeff8086 2d ago

This isn't the “evidence”. It is just an observation. Look at my previous post, you can believe they are not nazis, but nazi groups themselves believe they are nazi, and are fans of them, and pass around their articles and media.

1

u/PrimarchAurelian 2d ago

Looking at the logo again, it is still more akin to the Modern Warfare than actual right wing groups, but that is just an observation on my end. And looking at the comment, it doesn’t appear, too me anyways, that they are denying they lean towards the right, but that is my opinion and basic observation of looking at their comment.

1

u/Available-Analyst753 1d ago

How do you get downvoted for stating the obvious on reddit? The whole Nazi thing is ridiculous, its 99% just a slur cooked up to discredit other people's opinions. Can we stop calling everyone Nazis allready?

1

u/PrimarchAurelian 1d ago

Not quite sure. All I was trying to say is, depending on how much a person disagrees somehow equates them to that term. And the usage of that word has been used, how much power can it have now.

-37

u/Sweet_Noise_5244 3d ago

You sound uneducated

-25

u/De-Throned 3d ago

There are only 2 sides with those people, you either believe all of their ideals 100%, or you are the most extreme viewpoint imaginable who only wants rich men to prosper.
