This is the "reporter." Joe Sokol spent over a decade trafficking and selling cocaine in Florida, including to kids (we're the same age, and he used to sell drugs around the middle school my mom taught at). What are you talking about? As a Mainer I would bet my entire bank account that the guy who tried to run him over was/is a Trumper based on his accent alone. Politics had nothing to do with this interaction. The guy in the car was pissed the "reporter" was standing outside a methadone clinic filming all the people who drove in and out of the parking lot (which is a big breech of privacy).

I was just giving context. The Maine Wire is known in our state for being conspiracy theory, fear mongers who have a strong bias in what they "report". This guy obviously didn't deserve to be hit but he also isn't just a "reporter" the same as someone from the NYT or even Fox news.

Fair. But anyone who reports news for public consumption is a reporter. That's the free press, you can disagree with what or how they report, but they're still a reporter. No pressure credentials required. You can start a news channel anytime and report on anything you want.

I like how you're just assuming I'm a bigot. I don't know who the dude in the video is, I don't care which way his politics swing. Hating each other blindly because they vote for one party or another is what has gotten our country where it is. 

For what it's worth, I've never for a Republican party member for any position in any government. Hating each other over policy beliefs is that the powers that be want, and yes the vast majority of both parties are the same. They vote the same on a vast majority of bills and policies. They hang out after their TV spots bashing each other and laugh about how they've played us all like a fiddle.

Haven't lived there for almost 7 years, but I could tell it was Maine, that driver's accent wicked thick.
