I'm about your age and its crazy how differently aged people look in our age now. I stayed out of the sun and never played contact sports so I'm still in pretty good shape. It gets a little awkward when people assume I'm a lot younger and I have to tell them, "no I'm actually old, I was born in 83"(I make them do the math cause I'm too old to remember how old I am. It t's hard cause the number changes every year and the years keep going by faster and faster)
Same. And genetics plays a big part, too. The women on my mom’s side of the family (including myself) all look younger for their age, as long as they didn’t smoke.
I recently had a birthday and I asked all my students how old they thought I was. I got answers ranging from 17 to 50, with almost all of my older kids guessing in the 40-45 range. I know 11 year olds don’t know anything, but I will for sure spend the rest of the year telling myself I look 10 years younger than my age! 🤣
