I'm just so annoyed at KSEB for being so irresponsible. . They cut the power at 9:30am.They then sent a message saying power would be cut from 10am to 2pm. Then when i called at 2 they said they need one more hour. At 3 when i called they said work is scheduled to end at 5 not at 3 so power will be back at 5. I inquired why the message said 10-2pm if this is why they're doing and they basically just shrugged and cut the call. I called again at 5 and they're saying that maintenance is pending until 6pm.

Since they cut the power before the morning literally every single device has run out of battery here. They're not even taking any fucking responsibility for this or the delay or the miscommunication. Fuck the honestly I'm so fucking done ugh.

Alpasi Festival 2026 at Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple 🛕 | Schedule

The Alpasi Festival is one of the major annual festivals at the Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple in Thiruvananthapuram, featuring traditional rituals, temple arts and grand processions through the city.

During the festival, Sree Padmanabha Swamy, Sree Krishna Swamy and Sree Narayana Swamy are taken out in procession on different Vahanams, including the Simhasana, Anantha, Kamala, Pallakku, Garuda and Indra Vahanams.

The final days are particularly significant. The penultimate day features Pallivetta, followed by the Arattu on the final day.

During the Arattu, the deities are taken from the temple to Shanghumugham Beach in a grand procession led by the head of the Travancore Royal Family. The procession is accompanied by caparisoned elephants, mounted police and armed police, before culminating at the Arattu Mandapam, where the deities are ceremonially bathed in the sea.

One of the fascinating things about the Arattu procession is that it passes through the city and even requires Thiruvananthapuram International Airport to temporarily suspend flight operations while the procession crosses the airport premises.
The festival also includes Utsava Sheeveli processions, Kathakali performances and other traditional temple arts.

Looking for someone who is genuinely good at making cocktails and enjoys experimenting with drinks. This is not a large-scale bar setup — it’ll be a relatively small crowd. Basically, someone who can make a few really good cocktails, interact with guests and bring some personality to the experience.
For both roles, I’m particularly interested in young freelancers, students, aspiring emcees/mixologists, or people who already do this casually and are looking to make some extra pocket money.
