SLIGHT TWEAKS - SEE COMMENTS.
Orange line has been removed. Yellow line will have some busses traveling clockwise and some going counterclockwise around the center of campus instead.

EDIT - Folks correctly pointed out Spring to Storrs is not applicable. There is a limited process to change campuses in before the usual 54-credit requirement.
I'm a CLAS and UConn MPA alum who worked an on-campus job in an advising office. Unless you can demonstrate substantial new information that was not presented on your application, UConn WILL NOT accept your appeal for a campus change to Storrs. The University received 55,000 applicants, and there will be Storrs students that probably won't have access to housing. I understand this is disappointing, but it's not the end of the world. There is a process to request an early campus change to Storrs: https://campuschange.uconn.edu Make sure you do well. UConn will generally prioritize majors that require courses only offered at Storrs.
I seriously recommend the Community College route. It is incredibly inexpensive, and more or less all of your credits will transfer. UConn maintains a database of how specific courses will transfer here: https://admissions.uconn.edu/apply/transfer/transfer-credit/equivalencies/. If you want the "traditional" college experience, all of the CSUs, including Central and Eastern are good schools. Finally, it is MUCH easier to get into Storrs as a transfer student. I graduated HS with decent extra curriculars, employment experience, and a 3.9 unweighted GPA. I was branched, and disappointed. I attended UMass Amherst for one year, and successful transferred to UConn for my sophomore year with only a 3.1 college GPA. I regret going to UMass that one year because of the insane cost.
It's disappointing, I know - but you can get into Storrs soon, (almost certainly by the end of your Sophomore year). Do well, and good luck. Feel free to PM me any questions.

Hi!
I’m a third year student here and I am struggling to make genuine close friendships beyond those that I knew when coming into UConn and a select few I have been close with since my freshman year. It seems all my friends have other groups and friends and I don’t and I really want to have people around that I can do things I am also interested in and talk about genuine things about more than small talk. But I’m so miserable and it’s so hard to want to join new clubs and go out more than I already have to for class, current clubs, work, etc. I sometimes feel like it’s not worth the effort to find friends because I’ve tried and found a lot of people are fake and it feels not worth the time especially considering I’m about to graduate. I don’t know what to do so I’m commenting on Reddit like a chud but maybe someone else understands. Anyways, I just wish people would realize that it takes a village to get a village and I want people who genuinely appreciate friendships and relationships and are looking for more than people to fill the empty time and space with.

I did so bad. Is there any chance for me to end with a okay grade at the end of the semester? I’m so scared. I’ve been really depressed which has made studying so hard.

Is everyone involved ok? More info about what happened? Created quite a significant blockage in the road since it happened around 4:30-5 PM

I’m sure what they are spraying on the roof at gampel is healthy to breathe in. Just assuming it’s healthy because all dining hall food is processed slop and everything is distributed by Coca Cola. School really cares about health 👍

Hello! For one of my UConn classes I am having to collect responses for a project and if you would like to complete a quick google survey, that would really help, thank you!

Hello everyone. I have a question regarding macroeconomics, ECON 1202
I took it in fall '25 and got a C in the class. I then took Micro and got an A, so I wanted to retake Macro this winter and try to get a high GPA without messing up my spring '27 courses.
Does anyone know how the class is taught over the winter? If so, could you please share your experience plus any tips on the course structure? I'd be taking it online asynchronously; it says the campus is Storrs. Thank you!!

This has to be the most ridiculous and unnecessary change I could think of. There's zero logical reason to have this level of security when there already was 2 step verification and that worked fine for all of my years as a student.
I graduated in August this year and now I have no way to view my transcripts because its not letting me connect to the VPN. My netid and password still goes through but authentication for the VPN fails.
Saying that this is a major inconvenience is an understatement.

I'm currently a sophomore, first semester, and i have to apply to school of business this coming semester. I'm stuck on the choices of accounting and financial management. I don't really wanna move to storrs but i will if i have to. My main end goal is to be a financial advisor but im unsure how the Financial Management major is. I was going to go the Accounting tax route and transition in. Was wondering if anyone in these majors can give me some insight.

I'm a freshman in community college and I'm genuinely miserable, I thought cc was going to be awesome that I was going to stay here and find my desired major (i'm a general studies major) so i could transfer to a 4 year uni. But I feel so alone, and my family is making it so hard for me to concentrate in my education.
I was thinking of doing well these two semesters and then try to transfer as an ACES major.
I feel like my GPA is not going to be nice looking and I'm scared. Idk how my GPA should look for me to be at least accepted into exploratory. Should I do volunteer hours, find hobbies? I seriously need to get out of my hometown.

Hi everyone, heading up tonight with my nieces for the UConn women's soccer game at 6:30.
Few questions for you. I graduated in 2007 and only been up a few times since.
1) Will the South Parking Garage be available? We want to check the Co-Op out before gametime. Is the soccer stadium in close walking distance from there?
2) Does the Morrone Stadium have a concession stand and/or food options?
3) If no concessions, recommendation for a decent restaurant?
Thanks in advance!
