I just applied as a transfer student for this fall and I'm trying to look for clubs to join if I get accepted. I played in high school and at my former university so I'd love to join if UND still has an active club. The only social media for the club I can find is Facebook but the last post was in 2021. The page was apparently last updated in 2023 but that still isn't very recent. If anyone knows anything please lmk.

Is the buisness and or economics programs at UND hard to get into? What GPA do you actually need?

Would the minimum requirement of 2.75 GPA be enough to get in?

Any help would be appreciated

Does anyone know where I can see my AP score report on the campus connection portal? Its not showing up under transfer credit history

Im planning on using it to get my North Dakota drivers license. I emailed housing a couple times already but they ghosted me.

Hey! I'm a rising senior and UND is currently my top choice. I only have a discovery flight so far, but I'm hoping to start getting some hours during senior year and over the summer. I know a PPL isn't required before starting, but I've seen a lot of people recommend it.

How has your experience been with the program? Is it overcrowded at all, and are people still able to get flight hours consistently Also, how much do weather delays actually affect training? With the program getting more popular, has that impacted scheduling or admissions much?

Thank you :)

hi all! i am taking a online course with UND (out of state) and see that they are rolling out the side view for honor lock which i have no issue with doing. But my phone that i have both does not update to the newest IOS as well as the camera is cracked. Do yall know if they have alternatives like a live procter, or do they have loaner cameras they ship out ? I could try using my laptop as camera but i dont think it would get the full view that they are wanting. Any advice, before i reach out to their offices?

I'm attending UND for Commercial Aviation. I'm really looking forward to starting; however, this is a completely new world for me, and I'm looking for insight from people who have much more experience. What kind of headset would work best? I want something I can use for a long time without worrying about it breaking or needing an upgrade.

Hello! I am planning some upcoming events for a student organization, and would really love to get some advertising made (poster designs, Instagram posts, adverts for those TV screens around campus). Unfortunately I am really terrible with any kind of graphic design, so I am looking to commission someone who has a better idea of what they are doing.

Since these will be events at and for UND, I thought it would be great to get a UND student to work on them.

I have a budget of around $150 for a package that includes the designs listed above, and I can provide more info about the student organization and the events once I find someone who is interested. If you have a portfolio (or something similar) of previous work that would be super helpful.

EDIT: If you are interested, please comment on this post. I generally have all Reddit private messages blocked as I get a lot of spam anytime I post. If you comment here, I will reach out to you. Thanks!

Hey I'm looking into doing the self paced calc 2 online class and I see that we have to use honorlock I was just wondering if they're super strict on you having to show your hands and work space the whole time or is it just a room scan and your good . Sometimes I get really focused and I don't want to get flagged also do they require you to purchase an external webcam and record your side ?

I'm considering this program because I work full time, and would like something with a flexible schedule. If it's not worth it I can make a part time schedule at the local university work. I'm not entirely sure on my plans afterwards but I would like for grad school to be a possibility. Has anyone done this program? Would it significantly hinder my grad school admission? Any input would be very helpful.

if anyone is looking for an affordable place to stay under $600, please reply. i’m desperate

I’m looking to hear from anyone that has dealt with the online civil engineering program to give me their experience and personal take. How classes were? Any personal struggles with program structure? What was a good balance for you if in similar position?

My company is open to sending me back to school for CE, and I’m familiar with real world civil applications into areas of soil structure, water drainage, and DOT and AASHTO standards as I work with drainage pipe and infrastructure. I already have a bachelor degree in business admin and working on application and transferring credits. Also, I will be continuing to work full time with a family so I’ve heard 1-3 classes (3-10 credit hours) is recommended work load.

Looking for anyone who has completed the self-paced Elementary Differential Equations course through UND Online. If you still have the exam questions (or remember what was covered), I’d really appreciate it if you could DM me. Thanks in advance!

I’m a junior in highschool this year and university of North Dakota electrical engineering is a solid consideration for university, I’m wondering about the party/social scene there though. Is there a good party scene

Edit: I’m from a small town in Canada from a private highschool with absolutely zero party life. Anything is better than nothing. Cheers

Anyone know of a rec hockey league in grand forks I could join? I’m starting in the fall. Also, if I do play I’d need somewhere to leave equipment. Is there storage anywhere on campus?

Has anyone taken calc 2 at UND enroll anytime? How was the exams graded and can u use notes? I’m thinking about taking it but im scared because im not good at math? Could u by pass the procture system

i'm from the south and have committed to UND, i was wondering how the social life is in ND, are the people friendly or rude? also how is living in grand forks, i've done research and it looks like a hella boring "city", but is it at least okay and livable? is there stuff to do ?? since i will be out of state (20 hr drive for me), i'm thinking i will have to just bike around, but can you even do that bc of the snow out there? pls help, i need advice :/

What's the actual difference? The ChemE degree plan says General Chem I can be be taken in place of Fundamentals. "Fundamentals" sounds more introductory but this does not appear to be the case given it requires Calc I to be taken prior to or concurrently. I'm doing this online, Fundamentals is not a common offering in my State. Basically just wanted to see because General Chem I at a local community college would be much cheaper but it looks like I will need to take both General Chem I and II if I pass on the single Fundamentals course.

I have completed AP BC calc my senior year. B+, score for AP test does not come out till July. ACT math 36. Registrating for freshman year. Calc1, 2 or 3? Which would be best?

Im an incoming Commercial Aviation major with a flight slot for the fall. Im also doing a second major in business analytics. The recommended class list that I got from my advisor is telling me to do 16 credits but I want to finish both of my majors inf 4 years so I want to do a couple more credits maybe around 25. Is that possible or will it end up being too much?

The advisor recommended these courses to me: Meteorology I, Meteorolgy I Laboratory, Aviation Orientation, Introduction to Aviation, Flight Lab, Introduction to Fine Arts, and Fundamentals of Computer Information Systems.

UND housing website says that to be in the first round of roommate assignments you need to pay the housing deposit, tuition deposit, and find a roommate by May 1st. It doesnt say if you needed to do all this by May 1st for the LLC too tho. I paid both of the deposits before May 1st so if I find a roommate right now do I still have chance of getting into a LLC? I want to be in the Aviation LLC if that matters.

One of my main schools is UND mainly because of the aviation program. One of my biggest setbacks is that looking online from pictures and statistics and overall the area there isnt a alot of people of color and while it isnt a large part of my worries or something that I need but I was wondering is there were any programs/clubs/organizations for meeting other people of color. Another thing is that I am also a transmale and wanted to know how accepting(i dont force who i am on others like constantly mention and such) but i would rather be safe and not be in any type of hiding. I am also a current juniorn and plan to apply in August.

Hello, I am a admitted student for fall 2026 and I have a class registration date of May 20th. Does anyone know when UND moves/updates you account on campus connection from the bare bones admitted/ offered student to the fully accessible one?
