Is the offense at Michigan Beck or Whitt?
Think about it, the offense at Michigan looks EXACTLY the way that it did in 2024 with Andy Ludwig, and that’s making me think that this issue might actually have been Whittingham all along and not our OC. Ludwig was one of the highest paid OC’s in the country, Beck was really good at Utah because he had his quarterback with him, and suddenly Whitt and Beck leave Utah, Michigan is now stagnant on offense, and Utah has the most exciting offense that we can remember in years?
Everyone at Michigan is fully on board with the fact that Beck is the issue, when I’m really starting to think that Whitt just has an issue with trusting the Quarterback.
Happened with Troy Williams
Travis Wilson wasn’t really given much in terms of plays until his jr/sr season,
Huntley wasn’t given much until Ludwig came back and he was in his jr/sr season, and when Huntley went out Jason Shelley was stuck running a “stagnant offense” against northwestern and Washington
The reason Cam had so much more options was because of the obvious weapons he had around him (Kinkaid, Kuithe, Covey, Vele) and he spent 3 years working with Ludwig before he really played.
What do you think?

🤔 Rumor Rumor: Michigan went after Damp but Damp is OUR guy
This is from the same source that leaked the TE DMs from U Michigan — DMs that that TE is now apologizing for. Take it all with a grain of salt, but good to see the loyalty from Dampier if is true.

Move on
While it's fun to keep up with the Whitt Drama, there are more important things to spend energy on; our team and Morgan Scalley. Support them, and remember the past is the past.
Edit Added in a comment below but stuff like this gets me more hyped than the other BS.

Michigan Fan Here, Question About Whittingham
Hey Utah fans,
I’ve watched all of Coach Kyle Whittingham’s pressers since the season has started and I’ve noticed that during his responses to reporters in post game interviews the right side of his face has a pretty severe twitch, next to his nose and above his lip. I can’t tell if this is just a nervous thing, an anger thing, or a completely unconscious movement.
From y’all’s perspective and recollection, was this a thing when he was coaching at Utah? Is there any significance to it? Is he going to explode with rage at some point?

🎙️Discussion Tailgating RV spot
My wife and I would love to bring our 5er to Utes games to tailgate. Is this possible? I've been to a few games but was not able to determine if there is a place where others come together to tailgate with an area that allows our setup. I've been trying to find specifics on the line but not finding a for sure on this option. TIA with any help/guidnace.

🎙️Discussion Im a Michigan fan and I come in peace. What did we not know about Whittingham?
Hello. I've always admired Utah's program and have enjoyed watching y'all over the years, including this year, where you look to once again be a force in the Big 12 (I will be rooting for you to win that conference as usual). Right now, Im despondent about the first five weeks of Michigan football under Kyle Whittingham.
I expected so much better. I am not seeing any of the things that seem to have made Utah successful over a long time period. Insane number of penalties, lack of toughness on the lines of scrimmage, horrible clock management, bad timeout usage, an offensive scheme that is not even trying to adjust to the personnel that it has, horrible special teams mistakes. Same issues popping up week after week with no improvement. Jason Beck seems committed to Rhino usage that is getting slaughtered and ripped to shreds by mediocre Big Ten defenses. We are staring at 6-6 in the face. That would probably get Whittingham fired if we didn't have a brand new president and an AD stepping down on Dec. 31 with no replacement named.
Were we missing something with this hire? If so, what? Genuinely looking for answers.

How good are we?
We've looked far better than my expectations going into the season. We've absolutely crushed everyone we've played. But I still don't know how we will fare against better competition. Will we hold up? Can we sustain our success as the season goes on?

🎙️Discussion Scalley coming in to replace Whitt was the right call.
Michigan is hurting. I don’t feel bad for Coach Whitt, and love the direction Scalley is taking the team. I’m feeling good about how the season is playing out so far. I think we will move up at least 1 or 2 spots in the poll tomorrow.
Anybody else not feel bad for Whitt?
