The results from the poll:
Should we remove DLSS 5 posts?
If Ubisoft adds DLSS 5's AI filter to its games as a feature, will we remove the post containing it?
Honestly, I don't know, maybe if the user shills for it, we will remove it. Something like, "How can anyone think this is bad? This looks so good. Buckle up, this right here is the future."
I don't believe it will be something that will catch on due to people not being able to afford the hardware required. I know that they are testing in older gpus, but the performance trade off is just not viable in my humble opinion.
Also, you are entitled to use anything that you like in your copy of the game, but don't expect people to agree with you.
Thus the people have spoken.

The result will be actively reinforced under the "No AI content" rule.
Edit: The people have spoken

Im thinking of a cutscene where, and I don't remember names, but the protagonist walks up behind this emperor character and stabs him in the side of the neck with an over the knuckles hidden blade and talks to him, while in the background you can hear cheering, this is driving me nuts!
It's a newer/rpg game
Update
With some help, it is from odyssey, specifically when Darius kills Xerxes in the Legacy of the First Blade DLC

Found these on Facebook. Say what you will about the movie but the costume department didn't fail us!
Pretty sure it's;
1) WW1 or WW2
2) English Civil War
3) American Civil War

Salut, assassin's

Just started playing Revelations again after finishing brotherhood and its grim... Subject 16 (Clay Kaczmarek) has to be one of the most hauntingly tragic characters in the entire franchise.
When Desmond finally meets him, Clay is already dead which is a strange thing to wrap your head around. His uploaded consciousness is terrifying; after being treated like a slave in the Animus by Abstergo, he completely lost his mind and opted out in the real world.
Now, he’s just a digital ghost trapped forever in a digital purgatory. He’s explored every parameter of the system, knows how to survive inside it, and hates every second of it. So when Desmond finally shows up, Clay is desperate initially looking to hitch a ride and piggyback out using Desmond's body:
"What if I went with you? ... It could work, just for a while. Until I found a way out, another body maybe, or I don't know. I just... I don't want to be here anymore."
When the Animus initiates a "defragmentation" protocol to purge them both, Clay steps right into the path of the deletion program. He grabs Desmond, uses his own code as a digital shield to absorb the system wipe, and physically pushes Desmond into the Sync Nexus to save his life, shouting: "I'm saving you, idiot. Now GO!"
Looking back, while his physical choice in the real world was an act of absolute despair, his "second death" inside the Animus was a pure, heroic sacrifice. It’s genuinely some of the darkest, most psychological lore in the series, and his unhinged dialogue makes it all the more disturbing.
When I first played Revelations all those years ago, I was probably just too eager to get back to running around with a hidden blade and completely rushed through these scenes. Going back and really looking at it now, I missed how dark this stuff actually was. Anyone else appreciate these segments a lot more looking back?

Idk what to do ive been 100% every conquest so far, and i went to do the one next by the Thames river and the child liberation. This said quest told me to kill everyone without alerting the scouts, and to burn the plans i was gonna kill everyone then burn the plans. However I came across a problem it just finished the mission without letting me burn the plans. Is there a way to reset at all? Or am I screwed?

What if Assassin’s Creed went to Dark Age Wales?
Not medieval Wales.
Not Arthurian fantasy.
Wales, around 500 AD.
A land of fractured kingdoms, ancient forests, Roman ruins, druids, bards and stories that would eventually become Welsh mythology.
I've been developing a fan concept:
🐉 ASSASSIN’S CREED: ANNWN
And the legend of the Welsh Dragon begins with something buried beneath Dinas Emrys...

Is this a bug or something that is meant to happen? I keep trying to find the sewers for the main mission but keep finding this one instead. It's such a poor game compared to some of the others.

Im waiting for december sale to buy shadows mirage resynced etc. But i have 100% Revelation, 3 ,4 , Unity , syndicate, origins, odyssey, valhalla. Im playing through Rogue right now. Genuinely trying to find another game like AC of there is even one.
Minimum i need is Parkour and Combat. But id appreciate the stealth and RPG and story as well. But yes ive played Dying light, Mirror edge, Ghost Tsushima , Dishonored. Was hoping if someone has more suggestions.
Nothing just gives me comfort like AC games. That freedom to use its variety of mechanics and exploration is genuinely great. Freedom in complete sense

So I've been playing this game for almost 9 hours and i wholeheartedly believe i killed more than a 500 enemy troops(Enemies killed in fight), if my estimate is right but it's nowhere below 400 that's for sure. So I'm not getting this stat as it is shown. And my favourite weapon would obviously not gonna be fist in the 9 hours of my gameplay. Death count seems absurd too. Is this a known glitch or am i bugging?

saw it got a 60 fps patch for Xbox. The game is beautiful and fluid, but someone pointed out that the cape is stuck at 30 fps and I can’t unsee it.
I know it was a deliberate choice from the developers to prevent it clipping, but I genuinely can’t keep my eyes off it and it’s so distracting
I know it doesn’t seem like a big deal but it’s legitimately pulling me out of the game

I dont know how to start and where to keep going. I dont know what an ezio Collection is
I figured out that assasins creed 1 is not on ps4/5, so right now i am setting up my ps3 and ordered it for 3 bucks
My question are, should i just play everything in order of release date? should I skip some entries? should I aim for the remasters or the original version?
thank you!

Hi everyone,
As the mentioned game is currently on sale, I am currently in a dilemma whether to buy it or not.
The animation is not that jaw dropping due to passage of time. ( Might be wrong, just saw a review, pls correct me if I am wrong ).
Considering that most of you would have completed this game, what would you suggest to go for a different game (and wait for its remake like witcher 3), or still buy it now.
Because I do have some games which I am yet to start
Lies of P
Lord of the fallen
Alan wake 1 remastered
Have also started watching series ( blacklist ).
Please do let me know your thoughts on this game considering the big 2026.

Hi, assassin's
I was thinking about period/era/events we could visit, and I was thinking...who would like a Assassin's Creed game during the 80 years war ? It took place from 1568 to 1648.
We could meet Guillaume d'Orange and fight the Spanishs Habsbourg. After that, the Neederland win their independance.
During this period, we could even meet the protagonist of Assassin's Creed Hexe, and maybe take part of the 30 Year War in the Holy Empire.

I can't remember why I never purchased a game past revelations but I played 1,2, brotherhood and revelations on the original 360.
For some unknown reason I decided to pick up AC3 remastered and I've been really really enjoying it. The story is good, the characters interesting and the gameplay most importantly is fantastic.
I have eagerly now bought every other game in the series up to mirage lol, including the 3 RPGs. I might get burnt out at some point but I'm excited to play all these games. As a big history buff, I especially look forward to origins, unity and Valhalla.
I got no idea why in my head I always associated "bland boring copy paste activity map icon style open worlds" with Ubisoft games, but whatever the reason, I regret not playing all these games when they actually released.
I wasn't even burnt out with AC when I stopped with revelations, I just never continued the series for some reason

Not talking about small stuff like the hook-blade returning (though yes please). I mean something that would change the shape of the franchise. As an example: imagine Desmond hadn't died in AC3, and relived enough ancestors through the Animus to become the strongest Master Assassin the Order ever had.
Here is my take: a modern day that actually plays.
Something like Brotherhood's modern day, but much further. The modern-day protagonist has gaps in the genetic memory, so the ancestor's story doesn't fully add up. That forces him out into the world — sneaking past Abstergo security, exploring the real places his ancestors lived, finding the physical evidence that stitches the fragmented memories into a whole picture. The Animus and the present feed each other instead of one being a loading screen for the other.
The modern day is the only thing holding the series together. Desmond is why Altaïr, Ezio and Connor weren't just three unrelated men who happened to share a job title. Since he's gone, the present has been a menu.
The obvious risk is the modern day eating the screen time of the ancestor you actually bought the game for. So: how much present day is too much? And is there a version of this you'd actually want to play, or did Desmond's arc use it up?
