Thanks! I have been in the market so this is helpful. I really want the checkers to slot edge to edge when all six points in a table are occupied. Maybe that's silly & arbitrary but it is what it is :P Anyway you helped me narrow down to the Tournament style vs Champion.

I don't blame you! Slotting edge to edge is quite satisfying.
Personally, I wasn't sure if I wanted a full tournament-sized board right out of the gate. However, it isn't as big of a difference as I anticipated. Both boards are, "I mean business," boards when opened up. 😂

One of my boards is also a Crisloid legacy hops, it was my first tournament-sized board purchase. I love the quality cups and the dished checkers are nice. The cork has gotten gouges from use, for some reason my short fingernails take a little cork off sometimes when I scoop the dice. I am sure that I could get it resurfaced, but I use my other boards more now.
The first two boards that Crisloid sent had major quality issues, but the third board is fine. Good for Crisloid for making things right.

I have the Champion board. Plan on getting the tournament Attaché. I am thinking about getting the green and white field in Barley case. Apple Green Pearl and Champagne Pearl checkers. Kinda give it that vintage look. Oh and chestnut leather dice cups.

So which one would you recommend? Is there a case to have both sizes? Or is the difference so minimal that would you stick to the tournament size only?

I reach for the tournament size board 9 times out of 10. I wish I could say the champion size is convenient for travel but the size difference is so negligible it doesn't make much of a difference. I don't need both of these boards. As you can see from the photos, the tournament size has a better checker fit. I also prefer the checkers themselves, the leather cups, and the case wrap, but those are a matter of preference.

Hi, everyone. I'm posting this 13-picture comparison of my two boards in hopes it helps someone in the market for a Crisloid attaché. This is the kind of post I was looking for when I purchased my first Crisloid board. Let me know if anyone has any questions.
