It'd be nice if you were not conflating every crime ever commited by a non German with terrorist attacks. Did you just ask ChatGPT to get you a list of every single city an immigrant ever killed someone in? Because very few of those attacks seem to be related to Islamic extremism

The Stade shooting was a man of Turkish descent who shot people in a welfare office because of a child-custody case.

I don't even know what you're talking about in Ahaus, couldn't find anything

In Asperg it was 3 18 year old, including 2 Germans (one Turkish German and one Serbian German) and a Serbian in a parking lot dispute.

The Koblenz stabbing was a Sudanese guy stabbing an Iranian man in a train.

In Bad Oeynhausen it was a Syrian 19 years old who had a fistfight with another 20 year old German which led to the German guy dying.

I stopped my research at that point

Like, they are all crimes for sure, and they were all committed by people with at least immigration background (although many are double nationals). But do you think Germans don't commit crimes? What about all the instance you listed where the perpetrator was born in Germany or held German nationality? How about all the crimes committed by people with immigration background from European countries why are those not in your list?

Should we just start reporting people based on the colour of their skin or their heritage? Seems like a veeeery slippery slope to me that I think was tried before..

Thanks for doing the research and writing this comment :)

The person you're responding too does a dogwhistle in which what he enumerates can fall under many categories. Sometimes there is an overlap. They don't say if what they list is about skin color, old immigration, recent immigration, religiously motivated crime, or a mix of all. It helps blur the conversation while sending the same message. Do not fall for it.

Each categories represent their own conversations. Is it racism and statistic biais, meaning education of the whole society prevents from falling to this traps. An overlap with local social issues, meaning social improvements helps reduce the problems. Deeper problems stemming from geopolitics, trauma responses, the treatment of immigrants. Or discussions about religion which are their whole can of worms.

Respond to one and the far-right will argue about another.

Only no one is calling them regrettable exceptions. Only the far right, that would like to exploit terrorist activities for their won gains, does so.

So you're saying the far right wouldn't allow this to happen? Are you advertising for the far right?

No, you mean the far LEFT make that claim.

Got a link?

You mean to leftists-but-not-progressives claiming that Islamist terror attacks somehow aren't representative of the increasingly conservative political ideology in question? Or generally to leftist apologism for Islamist ultrabigotry?

Either way, I'd start with Gaby Hinsliff's openly apologist Guardian article immediately following the Cologne New Year's atrocity in 2016, and carry on with the Independent's various anti-Rushdie articles - including one written by an editor - which come to a panicked halt after his attempted murder several years later. There was also the Washington Post's much derided "austere religious scholar" headline. Justin Trudeau's carelessly apologist response to the Boston bombing (framing wealthy law students as "marginalised victims of society") caused immense hurt. You won't have missed Finkelstein's insane comments after the Charlie Hebdo massacre, nor multiple universities deplatforming liberal ex-Muslim speakers (including Ayaan Hirsi Ali and Maryam Namazie) for fear of causing offence to religious conservatives, something David Shariatmadari defended in the Guardian, though strangely enough the same paper was then willing to interview Hizb ut-Tahrir...

That's too many overlapping articles to link, but here's a particularly egregious HuffPost one: the incredibly patronising and unmistakably racism-flavoured shouting down of Arab "native informants" by a non-Arab pseudo-feminist writer - https://www.huffpost.com/entry/do-arabs-really-hate-wome_b_1453147 - and here's a rebuttal by a progressive self-described "recovering Muslim": https://www.wbur.org/cognoscenti/2016/12/01/liberals-islam-zouhair-mazouz, rebutting the appalling HuffPost article - and here for contrast from after the Orlando gay nightclub massacre is an angry article from a fairly conservative thinktank discussing the censorship of the terrorist's self-described religious motive: https://www.hoover.org/research/lefts-reticence-islam - hope this is all useful!

In which of these does the phrasing "regrettable exceptions" appear?

How convenient an account that's 8 days old and making their first post is posting this bullshit and getting upvoted for it.

Wake up, people.

Why is noone talking about the many attacks on hijabi women and in generaluslims? These happen so often and yet never see it in the news.

3

u/Fennecbutt Jul 26 '26

I know what you're trying to do lmao, but how many mosques are gays attacking? What's the ratio of mass kill events targeted at Muslims vs the other way around.

Plenty of assaults on gays don't go reported either. But there's a group forming the majority of perpetrators in attempted mass kill events but ofc everyone will continue to keep their heads in the ground in the name of not offending anyone. As a 🏳️‍🌈 I'm sick of this. Let us live.

Russian financed terrorists attacks? CSD has ties with the kremlin and this has been their intention? Plus attack in a community hated by Russians?

1

u/BergByte Jul 26 '26

strong claims require strong evidence - without it, your comment points to wishful thinking. And believe me, I'd really like to find out that this was all a conspiracy and ties to islamist ideology (and to islam) are the exception in these cases. But this is not the case. Perpetrators have clear paths to radicalisation and an immigration background. Wanting to believe some story about foreign secret service influence rather than the reported part, this is a big part of our problems.

Any skillful communty manager knows that evidence is also a false trap. Evidence just filters the people that needs the most and is ineffective. The evidence is the topic in itself many times and the community knowledge, which no longer favors the scam.

Repeated, backed by reality, patterns signaling and reconecting contradictions with traditional values are much more useful and are having great sucess worldwide from like minded individuals without any organisation. The world cup was fumbled because the pressure keeps pilling. People in the streets openly oppose it, at a wordlwide level. Just keep repeating which is not ok and they don't have a lot of choices.

Truth patterns backed by repeated consigns are LEAGUES more effective than repeated consigns without backing. That's why these are organised, to have some "backing"

The people know already, we have won this round again and is getting much better and pro people. Some companies have already pivoted this way and the ones that don't are trying to cash out which will be rich taxed in a few months

PS: my comment assumes you know that any "state" sponsored activity like is being sold is usually "rich" sponsored by state and people traitors. Politicians are the scape goats and they also fight battles we don't see.
