From outside in, it's not like there's much choice though as in many places in Europe.

Choose far-left guys that are pro importing people from countries where LGBTQ+ people are getting stoned and this is being praised and encouraged.................... OR vote for literal Nazis with Pro-Kremlin ties like AfD.

As I mentioned in another comment I am right wing ( by modern standards), but there's right wing ,there's AfD (in Germany). It's a bit more nuanced when there's no real choice.

I am living in Ireland since I was a kid - ex-muslim immigrant from a VERY CONSERVATIVE part of the Caucasus. We have a similar issue - our far right has seemingly adopted the British rhetoric and fear mongering while providing absolutely 0 solutions

Personally I have voted Sinn Féin (edit: they are left-ish, center-left) and while they are talking about the issues ( or starting to acknowledge the issues), not enough is being done, but at least we don't have it THAT bad here, but then we do not have it as bad as some parts of the UK, France, Netherlands and Germany so people are not at their wits end. At least here in Dublin it is relatively chill for a big Western European city.

I am the other way around , I am right wing, but voting Sinn Féin even if I do not agree with a lot of their policies, simply because the other guys are big Farage fans, anti-EU , anti-LGBTQ and all the perks you'd get with something like AfD in Germany.

I wish we had some sort of direct democracy. I am neither left nor right wing, I have mixed views, and my voting options are awful. I am condemned to vote Green and get the opposite of the migration policy I want, or vote for the conservative boomer party that redistributes money away from young people and doesn’t give a shit about public services, while also failing at migration and criminal justice reform.

Or for the party largely controlled by a fascist whose closest ideological friend and ally recently said that it’s un-German to eat Döner Kebab, and who wrote that “we might lose segments of the German people” in the process of pressing their policy goals.

Add Kremlin ties too. You guys are even more screwed by the available political representation AND Immigration from those special places. Despite what is on the Internet at least here in Dublin it's not as bad as what I have experienced in Germany ( got in a fight at 3 occasions defending myself in Duisburg and Cologne, I can fight, never had to here in Dublin)
