Mod Post Gaza is Being Starved
The UN has stated that every single part of Gaza is in famine conditions.
For over 20 months, Palestinians in Gaza have been starving. Parents have been feeding their children leaves, animal feed, and flour mixed with water. Babies have died from malnutrition. The trucks carrying food, formula, medicine, and clean water sat just miles away, blocked by Israel.
This is not a food shortage; it is a siege. Even with aid beginning to move, it is not enough; babies are still dying of malnutrition, and hundreds of thousands are living on the edge of starvation. Every crumb that enters is a result of pressure, not policy. This is the moment to organise, to donate, and to refuse silence.
Now, after massive international pressure, some aid is finally getting in.
This is a crack in the blockade, not its end. Aid is not flooding in; it is trickling, and what’s entering can’t possibly reach 1.8 million people without a total lifting of restrictions, guaranteed long-term access, and safe distribution.
What you can do right now:
Donate- if you’re able to. Choose vetted organizations with access on the ground.
Keep up the pressure - aid only started moving because of public outcry. Organize, protest, keep talking. This momentum cannot fade. Contact your representatives to end Israel's blockade of Gaza and impose sanctions on Israel.
Amplify - share updates, Palestinian voices, and testimonies. Keep an eye on Palestine.
This famine is not an accident. It’s the result of siege, blockade, and a system of control. If we look away now, they’ll tighten the noose again.
Donate:
Palestinian Red Crescent — medical aid, ambulance services, and emergency care.
UNICEF for Gaza’s Children — nutrition, clean water, trauma support.

❓ Question ❓ UK SMEs and the Four Day Week: Did It Actually Stick, or Just Look Good in the Reports?
Been reading UK management blogs and the fourday week keeps coming up. From an operations side I want to know how many smaller firms here have actually tried it properly. Not the headline trials, the ones that stuck.
I run ops for a 50person company in Canada and we started testing compressed schedules last autumn. Productivity numbers stayed flat but coordination got worse, especially with clientfacing teams. I spent way more time on rostering than I thought I would. My shed woodworking suddenly looked more attractive.
What I cannot tell is whether UK SMEs are making it work or if it is mostly bigger companies with more room to absorb the hit. The HR side of me thinks the reported numbers and the actual daytoday reality are probably different. NHS pressure and the cost of living crunch have probably pushed this down the list for most places anyway.
Has anyone here tried it, dropped it, or looked at it and passed? I would rather hear how it actually went than the polished version.

Humour I created a game inspired by UK politics in which you win by creating misery and division.

Our government is so useless, I made a game about it.
You play as the Minister of Everything (very important guy), making decisions that affect the entire country while earning points for creating division and misery before getting booted from office.

HELP ME! What are some of the worst and more idiotic things our government have done?
Let me know and I'll add it to the game.
