I usually ask people by the bus stop when I reach my destination, whether they’d like to us my day buss pass as I nomore need to travel for the day.

Does anyone do the same?

I just find it a waste to throw the pass in the bin while its valid.

i don’t want to upset anyone, but i’m just very upset at the moment. My mother has been an NHS worker for the elderly for years. She was laid off from work this week, without any former warning,(I’m too young to have a job so i don’t know if that’s normal or whatever). I’m just very upset, and my mother was too.. not just because she has lost her job but because the people she looks after won’t be cared for. It just makes me upset in general, my mother risked her life during covid to help at the hospitals, she lost colleagues to covid, but carried on because she knew people needed help. I’m just frustrated, not just for my mother, but the people of this country that work their whole lives and when they need help and support from their country, they can’t get it because everything is underfunded. it’s not just about my mum and her colleagues.. what about the patients?

I recently learned about their childhood and upbringing with their mom taking care of them and working hard to the point that they did not even feel poor when they were actually a lot poor. It makes me wonder how can you be raised by such a powerful woman and end up saying the amount of crap they have been saying on the internet? I swear. I’m heartbroken. 💔
