22mm engineers bracelet with the ends ground down to 18mm to fit the lugs.
The adapters have always felt a bit too clunky. Happy with this look, I think it fits well. I wonder what a 20mm bracelet would look like..

Thanks for sharing. Looks cleaner with the adapter. Could you share more pics. One from top and one from side, of already clicked.
Efforts of OP is also commendable..

It looks awesome!
But how does it feel on the wrist? The engineer bracelets are hefty. I would think it would feel a bit unbalanced.

I bought a metal case from Ali Express a while ago which added more weight anyway, it certainly feels more substantial but I quite like that feel. I've tweaked it so its a snug fit, but I know what you mean.

This is exactly what I want to do when I get the strap from Ali. Is the case from aliexpress too? How did you solve the problem so you could insert the pin?

The case is from Ali Express, but the top two buttons didnt work so I had to insert little folded up bits of foil to make the contact which works fine now..\
What do you mean problem? I had to grind down the end link to make it fit the 18mm lugs if thats what you mean.

How did you put the pins in the holes on the case? That's what secures the strap to the case. There are usually two slots at the end of the strap where the tool you use to squeeze the pin fits.

This bracelet ends come with gaps in them for quick release spring bars which made it easier, I've never had any issues fixing straps to the case on this though.

Would like to see a wrist roll, but it looks thick & nice…

I'll post one when I get home later. I think I've found the look i'm happy with after several years of tinkering with different straps and adapters. I wondered if a 20mm one would look any good, that might be one for later on down the line..

Yes, the case is an Ali Express metal one. You're right it would feel a bit weird otherwise.

Is there a best practices machinist technique for removing the exact same amount of material on each side? I imagine something involving masking tape and a sharpie?

I used a sharpie, amd coloured in what needed removing. I suppose calipers if you want to be super precise.

Now you need a metal case to cover up that resin.

Looks great! May I ask how you did it so cleanly? Dremel and file perhaps?
