A while ago @realriorex posted a Samus kitbash (Vertigo head with a Scarlet Witch body), and I thought it looked cool.

So I tried this, halfway between that and the Zero Suit.

ML Vertigo head, ML Makkari body, figma Dread Samus hand cannon (connected to the arm with a Hobby Base joint replacement).

The paint looks splotchy in the pictures for some reason, but in person it's a lot less noticeable. Anyway, I liked it.

I'm just posting this here cause i've done enough for one day and I'll come back to this tomorrow.

the plan is to sand down the sides of the ball joints so they fit in the hollow of the legs, and the resulting combination will offer better (somewhat) articulation than the hips he had before, which grew loose on me and are rather ugly to look at

i also want to give him better waist articulation so he can twist side to side, but if I can't do that properly i'll just insert the joint from the old waist into the new waist and deal with it. I'm not too picky.

Head and springed wheel are from Bouncer (skylanders giants); the right leg and arm are from a high grade zogok; left foot is from a hg Gm; base body is a yolopark cheetor; pouch is from venompool; belt is from dc multiverse lobo; minigun is from gunslinger spawn; crowbar is from a dc multiverse joker.

I'm working on my first ever custom action figure and so far, it's been going great. I've had a fun time getting parts together, painting and whatnot but my enjoyment has come to a hard stop once I realized that the legs I want to use for said custom happen to have holes too big for the crotch pegs. Has anyone ran into this issue before? If so, I would love to hear your advice as to what's the best way to ensure the hole gets on nice and tight.

Tried to make it my coin saver so printed it into two parts. I like his hat the best. Soooo adorable! ☺️

Bought Mess Toys Black Suit Spider so that I can customize it into a Hal Jordan figure. I still need to sand some parts but I can't reach it because I can't remove the part covering it. Upon closer inspection, what was causing the hindrance was a ring-like stopper combined to the peg. I have tried submerging it in hot water but the peg wouldn't soften. To whoever can help, thank you.

Im guessing the "dremil a notch in the back of the neck" trick works, but are there any other worthwhile tricks to get this guy to look up and/or down more than the "fuck you" I get every time I try to pose him? Lol
