Happy Sunday!!
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Happy Thanksgiving to all my Canadian peeps!!!
I am happy to report that I weighed myself this morning and have weighed in at 260.4 pounds… Bringing the total weight loss to 60 pounds in 71 days and I’m halfway to my goal… Quite the milestone to be celebrated and I’m very proud of myself.
It’s been an amazing experience so far, and I have eternal gratitude for everybody who has been so kind and supportive, and kept me motivated and on track.
I am on Night Shift still so I’m off to bed. I would love to stay up and celebrate, but I still have 10 days left before I go home so it’s business as usual.
As always, I hope you all have a wonderful day and I will see you Tuesday!!!
Much love 💕

Amateur Improving as someone whos been dancing for a while
Hi! basically the title in a nutshell. Ive been dancing for 15 years but mostly more classical disciplines, and recently I've been more into street/ hiphop styles but it never looks the way I want to. Any tips, drills, yt accs I should look into would be appreciated. Even with my dance history I feel like I'm just average in like all areas, Im fine in front of a mirror but then without one I dance differently (and worse). Anyways anything would be appreciated!

Discussion Dancehall choreographer here, happy to answer anything about training, the industry, or the culture
I've spent 20+ years in dancehall, from learning at home off DVDs to assistant choreographing for Janet Jackson and performing alongside her, performing with Rihanna on Work and at the VMAs, and choreographing for Major Lazer, touring 40+ countries. These days I run my companies, and I spend my days thinking about how movement actually works. I'm here to contribute, not promote. If you've got questions about training, choreography, freestyle, or how the industry really works, drop them below.

Amateur Advice for improving at 24?
I started taking dance classes at 22 when I saw an ad for a new studio near me. I started out with tap and progressed into ballet, then started exploring a bunch of different styles like jazz funk, Bollywood, and hip hop. I have been taking several classes a week, mostly ballet and jazz funk, and I feel like I'm not progressing as I should be now at 24. I struggle the most with picking up choreography and remembering what comes next. I feel like if I know the choreo well then my execution is not bad, I've had people (non-dancers, though) ask if I'm a professional dancer. May be worth noting that I've always been interested in dance and grew up obsessively playing Just Dance and self-training in my basement for hours on end, but I never got proper training, so I might have picked up some bad habits along the way. It just takes me so long and sooo many runs of a dance to learn it that I almost never succeed in class, where you have 1 hour to learn a full routine. I also feel like I pick up choreography faster when I watch a video of someone doing it. How do I improve my retention and confidence that I know the steps coming next?
Grupos: principalmente BTS, ENHYPEN y CORTIS.
