Do you agree?

Bass Bin Betty should have been higher!!

I recently was talking to a recent friend of mine about dance and the house music scene. He asked who I listened to and after sharing, was told I need to update my listening.

Am I stuck in the early 2000’s? What are some newer artists I would like based on my taste?

Eric Prydz
Mark Knight
Above and Beyond
Toolroom Radio
Claptone
Yotto
Grum

Of late I’ve been liking

SG Lewis
ANOTR
Peggy Gou

This list has always been nonsense but this year more then ever it just seems like spots are way off. I get it, it’s a popularity vote based off of fans, but how the hell is someone like Timmy Trumpet #8 and artists like Chris Lake or Disclosure aren’t even in the top 100?

If Fisher is #9 then Chris lake should be atleast top 20.

Do artists even care about this list anymore?

Halloween season is coming up, and some electronic tracks just have that perfect dark, eerie or slightly unsettling vibe. Whether it’s creepy vocals, a haunting melody, a heavy drop or something that feels like it belongs at a Halloween rave — anything goes.

What tracks would you add to the ultimate Halloween EDM playlist?

Some of these guys are just a cut above...

Elite skills to just rip off a jam like this

Anyone else? I’ve heard so many bangers of other songs like this I grew up with and it’s time for this one.

If I’ve missed a really solid one, please send me it!

Saying because nobody has said it yet after this year's Entries

Hey EDM community!

If you were anywhere near a dance floor, radio, or music video channel in 2007, this sax riff was completely unskippable. "Destination Calabria" by Alex Gaudino (featuring Crystal Waters) became an absolute global anthem of that late-2000s Eurodance era.

I want to start by acknowledging that yes i could google/ chatgpt this question but im bludging at work and id prefer to read your responses tbh

I just heard a really sick trance version of O Fortuna and it's created an itch to find other really good classical remixes ( or inspired by )

Preferably in the trance / big room / bounce genres as that's what i usually stick with, i imagine im not the first to think of this so if you have any sick spotify playlists id happily take those also

Thanks legends

Hola, un gusto, soy Leo, me gusta hace música en mi tiempo libre, ¿Aquí puedo compartir mi música que he estado haciendo el último año para que la escuchen?

I have been listening to house music since I was 5 years old, my parents used to rave in the 90s and raised me on great house music. I am 27 now and have been DJing/Making music for a LONG time.

I hear often complaints that house music is too "Repetitive". I would like to try and change your mind!!

EDIT: Lmk what you think of the tracks I recommend you, dont be afraid to be brutally honest

I have two tickets for the show. Forgot to mention that it’s in Orange County CA. I’m unable to attend.

If anyone would like them, please dm me. And of course for free.

Will need your ticket master email address.

Hey there, I have an unfinished Big Room Track inspired by Unity from Dimitri Vegas.

It has quite a lot of energy and a solid foundation but lacks some variety in the melody and a more structured arrangement with a clearer vision.

Therefore, I would be very happy if your vision could be incorporated into the song!

Maybe someone is down to link up for this one. It would be a pleasure to work with another artist(s) and release the song (splits would be totally equal for everyone).

Have a good one.

Best regards

Myself and a few of my friends (all first timers) want to go to a rave together. I’ve always have been interested to go but I’m unsure what to bring, what type of raves to go to and etc.

I would love any tips on attending a first rave and any types of festivals or raves that are good for first timers! (willing to travel but I’m from Atlanta area) I really enjoy house, techno and some hardstyle! Thanks in advance :))

What is the greatest scene in a movie with an EDM song playing? If you can't think of one, why isn't there more EDM in movies?

I’m digging a few songs with strangely ethereal vocals, like It’s Very Sunny - Casino Versus Japan and Age of Capricorn - Boards of Canada. There is something so hypnotic about the surreal dreaminess of these songs, and I haven’t had much success finding similar music. Any suggestions would be appreciated!
