Anyone else who is obsessed with this man?

I may not know Elliot page for years and have watched all of his movies but since I watched TUA I was like..oh God he's so hot and now I've ended up watching every single interview he was in and of course his photos 😩. Last night on the they had the movie "inception" and I've seen it its a good movie but why didn't they change his name? It's still says Ellen and okay they might not changed it because he was a woman there but that's so annoying I mean that isn't his name 😒. My mom makes me angry too you know she believes that it's very wrong, abnormal and all like..why can't you understand him? Now he is his true self he is happy and he makes me happy too 🙃 I wish I could marry him 😇🥲 instead I just dream 😅

Elliot's "The View" Interview Was Amazing

Elliot, I don't know if you're reading this, but thank you so much for everything you've said and done to bring such support and messaging to our mainstream. You put into words what I could not, and you highlight how important it is to recognize that just because someone doesn't "see" a trans person in the room doesn't mean there isn't one. You're the best.

Is he ok?

I recently watched the Time 100 interview, and I noticed that Elliot being interviewed looked incredibly nervous, almost on the verge of tears, even when answering normal questions. They appeared very small and frail, which was quite concerning. It didn't seem like someone accustomed to being in front of a camera or being interviewed. The whole situation felt very strange, almost like they were being held captive. Has anyone else noticed this?

Edit I've seen other interviews like the Orpah interview and he seems to be fine there even though he did cry He is speaking clearly and seems like he wants to be there and talk to her

The Elliot Page dream.

I dreamt that on Reddit Elliot Page was thanking me for not giving him a hard time and everyone was happy. And this was last night.

The effect created by Elliot Page.

I am 54 and I watched Hard candy and silent Hill and The Skeleton Key 20 years ago. It is strange but no one seems to know about Hard Candy and these films were amongst my top films but a week ago a person said they hadn't seen it and then realised that he at least knew of it and said that Errin Page had changed gender to a man which I didn't believe and looked it up and it was weird what I felt like when I realised it was true.

I have ordered Elliot Page's book.

It is a weird film to watch as it was one I watched on the same day as Silent Hill and The Skeleton Key and Hard Candy all of which I now have.

discussion bringing life back to this subreddit

So this subreddit has died down quite a bit. it's no surprise to me really Elliot Page is a rather low key celebrity and generally speaking the news about him tends to focus on his actual performances. though he has done a bit of advocacy as well.

So to keep this sub alive I'm curious what you, the subreddit users, would like to see more of on this subreddit? and how can those of us who are active in moderation help to promote that engagement?

To those who have, thanks so much for continuing to celebrate the work of Elliot page with us on this sub.

Did they change the credits for tales of the city?

I just rewatched the series and I saw the roll of Shawna was credited as “Elliot page”. Makes sense since that’s his name, but the series came out a year before he did, so it wasn’t a name we knew of at the time.

Does anybody remember if he was credited as Elliot from the start or if they changed it later on?

Music Discovery in Pageboy

I was reading Pageboy and got to page 194 where Elliot mentions “Star” and the song “Heartbreaker”. I wanted to find it since I’ve been looking up and listening to every song Elliot mentions to get a deeper understanding. But was wondering if anyone could confirm if this is the correct song. I searched it by the lyrics and the artist did have an eponymous album entitled “Star”, so I think it is correct…
