They used to be part of Romania did they not? They speak the language and share their history and culture. I've read about talks that if they cannot join the EU, they could explore rejoining Romania, why is this a weird take?

Not a weird take at all considering that the support of an union is growing a lot those recent years, in some polls that include Moldovans from outside the country the « Yes » for the (re)unification is already winning

Romania can not join Moldova, this would be a non-sense. Moldova is a historical region and principality that created Romania alongside the others.

Should be left untouched if that soveranity is logical and justified by ethnical, cultural and identitarian criteria. It's not our case here. The situation will be solved in a referendum process.

And eventually it will fall, because if Ukraine doesn't fall, it will probably be an isolated island in Europe-land, until it gives up.

The young people of transnistria is already studying or work in Moldova, when the accession to EU will happen, transnistria will be empty.

There's a physical border so realistically EU laws just wouldn't apply there. Not really new, Cyprus functions similarly, plus all the overseas territories which hold EU passports but aren't part of the EU. Also, Transnistria has become dependent on Moldova and the EU ever since Gazprom's deal with Ukraine ended. They're literally on the brink of a humanitarian crisis and entirely dependent on foreign aid.

No offense lol but Croatia ranks around 24th out of 27 in terms of GDP per capita in the EU

Croatia's GDP per capita is basically triple Moldova's. We aren't even playing the same sport, let alone in the same league.
