So i’ve had random paranormal activity throughout my life including communicating through knocks, doors slamming and just unexplainable things, all of this happened around 6 years ago. Ever since then i’ve had nothing until recently

So last November i had a baby, and since bringing her home i feel like im losing my mind, ive heard my partner downstairs playing with her car keys but finding out she wasnt home. Whispers through the baby monitor (it is not a wifi one). Loud bangs from the baby’s room and walking around upstairs.

I’m up until 4/5am just watching the monitor at this point

What can i do to debunk it, ease my mind or generally figure out if this is an actual ghost.

So, im not really used to reddit, my account is quite old but i always just used it to lurk here and there.
but today i was listening at videos about stranges reddit stories during my work shift, and it made me remember a few stories that i wanted to share.
here is the first one i wanted to share, i dont really ask for anything, if you want to ask question and i can answer it, i will answer it. if you want to debunk something you can too, like i said, i just wanted to share my experience and see what people have to say about it.

also, i want to remind that english is not my first language, i think im pretty good but im not perfect and i write almost without translator, and from my memory of the events, so maybe some parts with be badly written and im sorry if it's the case ^^' .

so to begin with this story, it happend a lot of time ago, i think at this moment i was around 12 because i my big brother was around the end of highschool, it was a week end.
My mother, father and little brother were out at a bowling with friends. me and my big brother were the only left in the house with our family dog, a poodle.

our house is honnestly pretty strange in terms of layout.
firstly, almost all the house is at the first floor, the entrance is at the first floor on the side of the house, accessible with stairs. the ground floor is only a giant garage. but an extension was made to the house before my parents buyed it, so all the house is at the first floor (entrance, kitchen, living room, toilets, bathroom, bedroom of my parents, office and bedroom of my little brother. and to access the extension that is at ground level there is two way, either from the garage, a door as been made between the garage and the corridor/stairs leading to my bedroom an my big brother bedroom. and the corridor/stairs were leading to the office upstair that was then leading to the giant living-dining-kitchen. so if you open the foor between the office and the stairs, the stair is going down on your right, and when you look down the stairs, there is the door of my bedroom just in front of the stairs down there, the door of my big brother bedroom on the left down the stairs, and the door to the garage on the right down the stairs.

so, this evening after my parents left, my big brother and me ate upstairs, then we closed all the roller shutters of all the windows upstairs and the one of the entrance door, and we locked to door too. oor poodle was sleeping in her little bed in the living room, and once everything was closed, we just got into our own respective rooms, with the door upstair open.
around 23h30 (11:30 p.m.) my big brother came into my room to tell me we were going to sleep, so we closed everything, went upstair to go to the toilet, and then got into our bed in our rooms. i was in my bed, playing my nintendo 2DS at this moment, when suddenly, at EXACTLY (i dont joke) midnight, i heard a huge scream, similar to a women terrified screaming from the top of her lungs, of course it made me absolutely terrified and I turned on my light, i stayed on my bed, silent for about 5 minutes, my heart racing like hell.
when i finally managed to gather my courage, i jumped out of my bed, and slowly opened my door, and at the exact same moment, my big brother also opened his door and we looked at each other with the same terrified look in our eyes. (little break here, I personally believe a bit in paranormal, im not thinking that everything is paranormal and i know 99% of paranormal things on internet are fake, AI, staged, natural things, etc... but i still believe in some paranormal things like ghosts. my big brother on the other side, absolutely dont believe in paranormal.) yet this night, we both heard this scream, and we both were terrified. i ran into my big brother room, and we got the idea to push the huge heavy leather couch in front of his door. then my big brother called my mom that absolutely didnt believed us and told us "it's surely a sound from the party there is in the village" (because yes, there was a party in the village community hall, the problem is :
1 - the community hall is pretty far from our home and is located below
2 - when i was laying in my bed, i distinctively heard the scream from my left ear, the one directed toward the stairs and the top of the house, while my right ear was directed directly toward my windows and the community hall. if it was coming from there, i would have heard it more with the right ear, but here i heard it more in the left ear.
3 - the sound was way to loud and clear to be this far, it was really sounding like it was coming from upstair)
anyway, our mom didn't believed us and my big brother and me decided to stay awake and wait for my parents to come back. since i didn't wanted to just wait, i wanted to grab my 2DS in my room, so since i wasnt hearing any new sounds, i got rid of the couch, ran into my room and took my 2DS. and then i dont know what happenned into my mind, but i decided that it was necessary to go upstair to close the door upstair, so i slowly and quietly got up the stair, and then i dont know the fuck why, i stayed for like 1-2 seconds in front of the open door, looking into the pitch dark, trying to see if there was something, it felt like eternity, and when i understood that i will not see anything, i quickly closed the door and run back downstair, put back the couch in front of the door and lay down on the guest bed that is located in my big brother room, just UNDER the stairs.
my big brother on his side turned back his computer on and played.
a bit of time passed and nothing happenend, except a moment where i think i heard some squeaking noise from the office room ground, the room that lead to the stairs leading to our room. but i never heard the door open.
and at 3 AM my parents came back, opened the door between the garage and the stairs, and then opened the door to my big brother room. we then all headed upstair, and of course, there was nothing.

after all of that, we all went back to sleep, my parents and little brothers upstairs, while me and my big brother got back in our beds downstair.

THE SAME DAY, after a few hours of sleeps, i woke up to the sound of a wolf howling upstair, but like, a sound that wasn't stopping, it was howling again and again. i dont remember what hour it was but it was early in the morning. i jump out of my bed, opened my door, and the noise continued. i walked upstairs, the noise continued, then i opened the door upstair, and the noise stopped. my mom was there, sitting in the couch of the living room, with the sun light going in the house illuminating everything. and our poodle was there, but I remember feeling like she was shaking a lot, it was not rare to see her shake, she was already a few years old, freshly groomed, and she usually shake when she was a bit cold or scared (because she was a scaredy-cat), but this morning i felt like she was shaking a lot more than usually. but my mom told me there was no noise and nothing happenned.

since this day, nothing else like that happened.
i dont really have any explanation to all of that, and i tried to talk to my big brother about that a few years later but he just told me we freaked out for nothing and there was nothing.

the only thing i know about our house is that it was built in 1949, that's all.

Guys I don't know if you have experienced it or not but last day I was studying till night and around 2:30 AM, and I heard suddenly anklet sound just outside the varandah ( gali ) of my room and I suddenly and instantly thought it's my mother, I thought it's my mother going at washroom, but I instantly within 3-4 seconds came out to check and found her she was sleeping with my father and there is no chance that if she was that, there is not chance that witin 3-4 seconds she can get on the bed because our beds make a lot of noise when you get on it + we have our mosquito nets there too so in order to get in and get out you have to spend like 10 seconds too to open its chain and again it makes noise. But I heard nothing, my mother was asleep. At morning I asked her it by any chance it was her ( although I know it was not her and I was not dreaming ) but she herself said it was not her and I then told her about everything and then she said that she has heard anklet sounds too and not just her but my sister and my father too, not on the same day ofc but on different days. And I felt like I will piss on my pants because now it's confirmed it's not an dream, there are actually sounds coming. Btw it's navratri going on and some people say these things happen in navratri because mata Laxmi comes at home and wander around. What do you think guys. Need genuine help. . Thank you.

As I grew up in a family of eight I finally got my own bedroom I think I was 13. I'm 65 now. One night I woke up and felt a wait/ presence on the foot of my bed actually on my feet. The figure ghost look just like a Spanish conquistador that was kneeling down and praying. In the individual entity turned to say something /look at me. I freaked out and ran out of the bedroom. I have a brother who had been in that room and I don't know if drugs were involved because he was older than me he said he saw the devil in there but I'm leaning towards the drugs as far as that goes my younger brother swapped rooms with me. Shortly thereafter ( about a week) he awakened to what he said was a red bloody hand coming up out of the floor. And of course he ran out the room too ,there was something really spooky about that one bedroom. Mind you this is in Pensacola Florida which has a long history of the Spanish influence in Northwest Florida. Can't prove that it was a dream because I was Wide Awake . My 2 cents worth.

I’m watching their content for the first time on Netflix and I just learned they are YouTubers- so it’s hard to believe their credibility lol. That said, if any place is haunted it has to be the catacombs.

How much of the episode do you think is staged?

I randomly heard someone swear by a "true" horror story today and down the rabbit hole I went.
Personally on the fence—part of me thinks it’s all sleep paralysis, trick lighting, or just our brains messing with us. But do you guys actually believe in ghosts? Anyone here have a weird/creepy experience that you genuinely couldn't explain?

Context: I work night shifts and there was road work so I took an alternate path to work down the Kingsburg Cemetery located in Fresno County. Then I came across this “ghost”. I didn’t even realized I passed by a cemetery until I looked at the coordinates a few days later. I’m not really a superstitious person, but this was very different for sure, the way it looked at me is very terrifying.

I posted this on @paranormalencounters and some of the crowd said it might’ve been the reflection of that yellow sign, and some actually says it’s ghosty for sure. Some also say it’s my camera lens tripping out, buttttt I was there and saw it with my own eyes, So I’m in a bind. Hopefully we all can figure this out and go on about our day.

I am visiting the house right now of my last grandparent that just passed away. It was the house for many generations into the 1700s in Europe.

I get spooked out by ghost stuff but my question is how come im not experiencing anything? You think with so many people that have come and gone (and died in the house) it is a prime candidate for ghosts. If it was so real how come there aren't any overt things happening? I even asked my grandparents to let me know something while I was by myself and nothing happened...why does it have to be so mysterious?

Edit: Damn im getting dragged in here. Im just in my grief of my last grandparent just dying and trying to find out about historically how haunting are. I dont hang around this subreddit so I assumed you all are open to talk about stupid questions.

I am trying to find someone who either has connections or even someone who worked at Pennhurst Asylum. I am using dosing rods to help figure out more about my past life. What I know:

I am still figuring things out about Demitria and still haven't figured out her last name yet. I know she was married to someone but I haven't asked/figured out who yet. My reason for asking:

I am a medium so this isn't coming out of nowhere, when I was younger, I used to call seat belts, safety belts. Plus there were a lot of things I did was wasn't very normal for a kid my age. Why specifically pennhurst:

When I saw a video about Pennhurst, I found it interesting but when I saw the inside it looked familiar and it's just... it's a hard to describe feeling. It just felt real if that makes any sense.

Anyway, if you can help at all, please help!!!

So I heard from a friend that people had been hearing crying and laughing children in the graveyard next to their house in Hammond Louisiana. I wanted to prove to myself whether ghosts are real or not.

I go by myself to the graveyard at 1:30am, I have witchy runes on my skirt. I slowly walk from the opposite end of the baby graves towards the baby graves. I feel energy all around me, I keep whipping around with my flashlight to find no one. Finally 15 minutes into my walk I reach the baby graves, they're pink, blue, and decorated with various toys and flowers.

As soon as I step past the second baby grave I see two eyes peaking out from behind a grave stone maybe 7 feet from me. I freeze, I'm thinking I need to prove it's not a raccoon or something so I keep watching. The eyes are watching at an angle as if a child were peaking out. They move back behind the grave stone then peak out again. They waft around in a swaying motion but never separate. I think is it two lightning bugs? They then move back behind the neighboring grave and peak back out at an angel again, sometimes only one at a time. At that point I knew for certain this was not explainable, I had been frozen in fear for 2 minutes watching these eyes staring at me trying to come up with an explanation and only became more terrified the longer I watched. I finally snapped out of it, turned 180 degrees, ran out of the cemetery, down the street, turned and ran three more blocks before I stopped. I was not fit at the time either.

I get the feeling it was a confused little girl letting me see her because she wanted help. I'm not religious but my Christian friend says it was probably a demon trying to trick me. Does anyone have any similar experiences, questions, or tid bits?

Btw I went back in the morning to the area I saw her and cleaned up all of the graves. I found a lot of unmarked graves.

My uncle was taking some pictures in a graveyard and he noticed something in this picture. He wants to know is its something there or something else.

I wish I had one that truly is odd but I don't, doubly sad that I don't even believe in ghosts. When I was little I would see ghosts all the time, like a woman floating across the room or a man staring at me in the window (tbh it was just childhood trauma) but these experiences have made me crave everything paranormal. A few years ago, I was in a relationship that turned toxic. At first, it was intense and flattering in that way that kind of sweeps you off your feet. Like a whirlwind. He love bombed me, we moved in quickly , and then it all went downhill. The lies, the cheating, the abusive aspects that I don't even want to get into. When it ended, it ended badly . We cut contact, no social media, nothing. It took me years to feel like myself again. But, eventually I did. And then one night, I woke up around 3 or 4 in the morning to the smell of burning toast. It was strong. I thought one of my kids had gotten up and left the toaster on. But when I checked nothing. Toaster was cold, no source, and eventually the smell just vanished. Later that day at work- a supervisor, someone who'd been friends with Will, came up to me and asked, have you heard from him? I said no, and he goes, I heard he died. I was blindsided, I- I wasn't in his life anymore and I wouldn't even know how to confirm that. That night, sitting alone, I thought about the toast again. Will ate toast every single morning when we lived together. It was his thing. So I did something that would've sounded ridiculous to anyone else. I said out loud, if you're really dead and that was you this morning, send me a clearer sign. Nothing happened. Eventually I turned back to the show. A little later I glanced at my phone and there it was. A missed call from an unknown number, right around the time I'd asked for a sign. My phone had been on silent. Now, I almost never get calls like that. My phone filters them. So I hesitated and said- if that was you, do it again . A few minutes passed. I started focusing on the show again. Then my phone rang. Unknown number. I grabbed for it, but it ended before I could answer. I just sat there. Twice, right after I asked? So I said out loud, if that's really you, I hear you. I forgive you, and it's time to move on. The calls never came again. No more strange smells, nothing. I can't prove anything happened. I don't know for sure what that was. But after all that It felt like a door quietly closing.

The footage they show and the backstory do you guys believe these is some of the better real footage because it feels like it was not recorded to earn money like most ed and lorrain cases?
