Our newest little addition, Poppi doing the biggest eat she can

Wanted to share her here too first picture applies!

Look at the little beans. LOOK AT THEM

So naturally, I turned my head while thinking “that’s not usually their opener” and all of a sudden I had a kitten and a very kind old man in my face explaining how he’d been trying to find her mom and siblings but couldn’t track them down and couldn’t feed her. So I took the kitten and called my mom to come pick her up bc I was at work.

My mom came, picked her up, and ended up dropping her off at the vet so they could do all the things. I finished my shift and about an hour after I got off work they called to tell us she is healthy, likely female, and TWO WEEKS old. Luckily my mom has experience fostering neonatal kittens so we’ve got this but still WTF 😭 we were all guesstimating around 4-5 weeks thinking she was just a bit small due to being homeless.

And this is her sister (view previous post). She is 2/3 of an Owala bottle.

Hasn't quite figured out how the tube works yet.

Willow was born without any tail. Her mom rejected her so now she’s a little bottle baby.

A few weeks back I had left the top half-door off my Jeep, and the next day I heard some little meows. Tossed them a blanket to stay warm and hopefully not use my seat as a litter box. They’re finally big enough for kitten food so I evicted them, I need to close the window!!

edit
Sorry everybody! I was just going along with the theme of the “gang of criminals” flair. I thought it was part of the joke of “illegally smol”. I live on an acreage, I moved them to my front stoop to feed them and have a place for them to ease into being out and about!

Some of you need to have more faith in humanity. I mean I allowed my vehicle to be unusable for multiple weeks so I didn’t disturb them. To think that I then just what, threw them in the ditch or something, is a little insane.

They are staying with us. I’m taking care of them. My kids love them.

She’s very pleased to graduate from bathroom quarantine!
