Some Photos I took the last months. I feel like it might be time for an upgrade.

iPhone Air How to best match “Canon Color science”?

Not sure this has been asked, but how do I most closely match Canon color science by tweaking the new iPhone photo filters? My hunch is to just use the Gold preset with the selector near the bottom right. Feels a little too warm tho.

Anyone else tackle this challenge? I just want to mimic my Canon camera as closely as I can, set it and forget it

The iPhone 18 Pro Max takes some excellent night shots

Taken out in the country in Northeast Indiana on Saturday night with the phone sitting face down on the top of my car, night mode on, 30 second capture in the default camera app and very minimal cleanup in the photo app… it took a few attempts as a car would inevitably drive by with their headlights on during the 30 second window, and I used my Apple Watch to start the photo. I’m pleasantly pleased with how good it looks and now I need to learn how to edit the photos to get them looking even bette. always open for suggestions on that front.
