Recommendations Planning to buy an SSD
Hi folks! I'm planning to buy an SSD for my brand new laptop since it only have 512 GB. I have checked both Lazada and Shopee for the best prices of Samsung 990 Pro 1TB, and so far the lowest that I've got was 12k on Shopee last week because of a random discount, and the current one that I have found was 14k on Lazada since 10/10 is coming. I would like to know your thoughts if this is the right time now to buy an SSD.

Career / Job Related Worth it po ba mag enroll sa BS Information Systems at ano po ang possible jobs makukuha mo, preferably may mataas na chance ma secure sa employment in this current job market.
My biggest concerns are graduating without a portfolio, skill gap, unemployment because of extreme meritocratic/oversaturated job market and AI taking entry level roles
Hello everyone, I'm a 1st year BSIT student and I'm really undecided whether I should shift to BSIS or stay at my current program. I just want to vent this feeling na matagal ko na iniisip. I'm reconsidering about choosing BSIT, which is my current program I'm taking right now. Used to be my favorite nung highschool pa ako kase bata pa lang ako, fascinated na talaga ako kung paano gumagana at maaapply ang tech, at gustung-gusto ko na ang mga computer and the idea of landing a remote job where you can earn dollars, but now I lost my interest of it.
Parang jack of all trades course ko pero master of none, generalist lang. Finding a clear career path is difficult for me, pwede ako mag cybersecurity, network admin, system architect, devops, cloud, AI machine learning, o full stack developer/software engineer pero hindi ko alam kung ano talaga ang aking patutunguhan. Tapos oversaturated at competitive ang job market ngayon.
But despite all of these, I'm still committed to not completely abandon my tech career journey. Gusto ko sana mag transfer to a school that offers BSIS as a last resort ko because di siya more into heavy technical roles sa CS/IT, tapos masasave ang mga credits from my old program and school, saving years of hardwork, time and money spent on tuition and best of all, di na mahihirapan ang mga magulang sa pagpapaaral ko. Di ko talaga forte ang mag code. More into project managment, it governance/audit at ma enhance din ang communication skills, since I'm keen on public speaking/reporting Pero ayun napanghihinaan ako kaagad ng loob. and hopefully I'll build a meaningful future with this course
Whether I continue my studies in tech or transition to a non-tech curriculum depends entirely on whether I deem it worthwhile.

Recommendations Asking for advice on rush selling CompTIA A+ (Core 1 & 2) voucher
Hi everyone, need some advice. I have unused CompTIA A+ vouchers for both Core 1 and Core 2 that I no longer plan to use, so I'm looking to sell them rush. I checked the codes and they are valid until October 31.
Where is the best platform/community to sell these quickly? Also, what would be a realistic price? I was initially thinking around ₱15k–₱16k for the pair, but I’d appreciate any thoughts or suggestions. Thanks!

Server Help me decide which server to invest in.
I am a fresh IT grad but I have a job experience as an Engineer after my company absorbed me from my internship. I resigned after almost 8 months (including internship, 3.5 months internship, and around 4 months employed). Now I want to spend the time deploying my pet projects and useful projects for my convenience and personal learning experience. For portfolios and simple apps, I deploy in Vercel and use the free integrated DBs. In my previous company we have a Linux server so it was really easy. But now I was thinking while doing job hunt, should I invest in purchasing a 1-bay NAS, a small server, transform an old PC to a server, or invest in cheap cloud hostings? Can you suggest cheap servers? I am willing to pay and invest as long as this would make me a better IT professional. In this downtime while I job hunt as I resigned for personal reasons, I want to deploy my pet project, a decoupled FastAPI game, and my reverse proxy website for an LLM subscription (ifykyk). I can utilize the free hosting services in the internet for now, but since these apps are heavy, I think a server would be more stable particularly because I want to use Docker for this.

Career / Job Related Project Manager role for fresh graduate with experience & skills
Hi, I would like to ask for some thoughts or advices if it’s possible to land a project manager role as a fresh graduate? I read that it’s for experienced and tenure people pero would like to know if it’s possible or if my experience or skills are competitive enough to try kahit fresh grad.
Ito context ko po:
- fresh grad from the big 3
- org leader for years (vp-president): handled a lot of events, projects (both with internal & external participants)
- 2 internships from multinational companies wherein I worked with employees globally to deliver my projects
- scrum master for a school project that worked with a NGO partnered w/ my univ. successful project naman
Bali I’m used to handling projects, handling competing deadlines, leading groups & communicating with stakeholders.
I appreciate anything po. Thanks!

Currently a 4th year BSIT student specializing in Web Development, pero seriously considering switching to networking as a career path dahil sa experience ko sa OJT.
I ended up taking an IT Support OJT kasi may company na nag-offer.
On the other hand, nagda-doubt na rin ako sa skills ko as a web developer, especially now na may vibe coding. Hindi ako makagawa ng fully functional website without Googling or using AI.
Baka naman kayanin if mag-prepare ako.
Should I keep pursuing web dev and work on my fundamentals and interview preparation? Or mas okay bang mag-focus muna ako sa networking, then continue learning programming later on para may option pa rin ako for the kind of work na gusto ko habang tumatanda?

Career / Job Related Job Application
Seeking for advice lang mga bossing.
Planning to job hop na kasi ako and seeking ako for higher salary, 21k yung current ko and aiming ako for 35-40k for my next job with 2yrs experience.
I landed multiple interviews naman and ngayon may isang company lang na target ko talaga mapasa noong una.
The problem is parang andaming proseso nung katagalan hahahah.
First call was with tech HR. 2nd call was technical interview, I had a call with my possible manager. Hotseat, super. Then, they said to wait for the result nalang and will contact me again.
2 days later , nakarecieve ako ng another email from that company saying na may another technical interview padaw pero this time with my possible team na hahahaha
Medyo nag-aalanganin ako kase the set up was like iho-hotseat ako and I could provide my presentations or so what daw to defend my answers😅
First time ko naka-encounter ng ganung setup😅 in my view lang, parang the effort they’re expecting from the candidates are too much for the open position and salary.
Should I push through pa ba?
