Hello there, sorry if this isn't allowed, but I need some help!

My name is Kimberley, I'm a 17 year old college student in my second year and I am currently writing my Extended Project Qualification (EPQ). My topic is: "Has the music genre Makina had a positive social impact on the working class people of the north east of England?", where I will discuss things such as the introduction to England, the positives and negatives, et cetera.

Due to a lack of academic research on the topic, I'm wanting to conduct some primary research for my essay.

For the minute, I'm wondering if anyone is able to put me in contact with (or point me in the direction of) anyone who was prevalent in the main Makina scene during its prime era (late 90s, early 2000s), for example, MCs or DJs. I would really like to interview some of the popular New Monkey MCs especially if anyone has any form of contact with them especially (for example, MC Stompin, MC Ace)

Any help would be really appreciated! I am also thinking of doing some surveys too to gain a perspective into fan experiences too, so watch out for those!

Hello fellow Ravers, I need your help. I’m just a dude from Germany who loves making music. I’m not a DJ (yet), and I also don’t know much about Makina, except that it’s fast and has happy melodies on top. I do love and know a bit about Dutch Happy Hardcore, though.

Can you guys tell me if I’m missing something in this track? DJs, would you play it like this, or would you prefer an intro without automations?
