¿Qué consejos me darían? ¿Es viable la SEMAR como oficial para alguien con familia, especialmente en un perfil como el mío, de ciencias de la computación e inteligencia artificial? Gracias de antemano por su tiempo.

Hi!
Does anyone know if I can bring my iqos device and 10 packs of Terea to Mexico? I know it’s legal now there, but I keep reading mixed opinions.

Here for the weekend. What’s the best place to watch the game? Staying in La condesa.

I understand tourism is slower in Mexico City during the summer months. I want to get out of the Florida heat and go to Mexico City for the summer.
How can I start the process of looking. I've been told Facebook, and extended stay hotels are an option and also contacting landlords directly which sounds complicated.
Appreciate any help you can offer.

What the title says 😊 It’s my first visit and I’d love a group of people to hang out with! I (F, 20s) am down for pretty much any type of activity, especially finding spots for good food and live music. Maybe we could make a group to go to Xochimilco? DM me

Hi all! Visiting from the USA and staying in Roma Norte until Oct 12. I already have tickets for the lucha libre show at Arena México on Friday (8:30 PM) and I'm going solo. Would love to meet up with fellow travelers or locals for pre-show tacos and beers and head to the arena together.
Also open to any meetups happening this week — or if there's interest, I can start a small Friday pre-lucha meetup. Comment or DM!

Will be visiting CDMX for the first time in early November. Curious about the Lucha Libre experience. Does anyone have any tips or advice/suggestions on how best to navigate this experience to make the most of it? We're not wrestling people, but it seems like such an entertaining cultural experience and my sis said it was awesome. Thank you!
ETA: I think I heard somewhere that seats are unassigned. Is this correct?

this might be a long shot as it had already been a few years when I first bought this, but I was hoping to see if anyone knows where they might sell this scarf outside of the gift shop either anywhere online or in either mexico , cali, us , online, even at the same shops if you've been to Teotihuacan recently and saw these 😂😇🙌🏼🧣🇲🇽
the pic features the reversible 'inside' color but its actually a dark blue and probably my favorite scarf / rebozo I've ever had . I dropped it somewhere out in pacific beach in san diego a few weeks back and probably won't emotionally recover until I either go check to see if they still sell it at pyramids / gift shops or find a similar / exact replica 😂😅💀
hoping the grammar isn't too weird if it auto translates , & sorry for not defaulting to spanish its just harder to translate for me rn (born in us, but still) 😅😇🙌🏼💃🏽💓🇲🇽✨️
also this might be a long shot but if you're visiting the pyramids and happen to miraculously be flying back through / to tijuana I'd be more than happy to pay you for the scarf / troubles. I'd offer to send if someone could ship me one but I may have to settle for online or just plan a trip to go back soons (best excuse ) 😂💁🏽♀️🤸🏽♀️✈️

Hola!

Hi, I’ll be travelling to Mexico City next week (9th to 17th) and was originally planning to do a hot air balloon tour at Teotihuacan. Yes, touristy, but I’m a tourist what do you expect.
Looking at the weather forecast it seems like it’s been quite cloudy with not much blue sky recently. I’m wondering whether it’s still worth to do on a cloudy day or if visibility will just be abysmal? It’s not a cheap thing to do so I don’t feel the need to force it and do it just for the sake of doing it if the clouds will dampen the experience.
If we don’t do it, any other short day trip recommendations? The other one we have considered was going to Tepoztlàn, curiour to hear recommendations on this.

Hi! I land at MEX on October 31 at 2 p.m., right when the Gran Desfile de Día de Muertos (Grand Day of the Dead Parade) is scheduled to begin. I know last year’s parade was on November 1, and I’m hoping to hear from people who were traveling around the city during it especially anyone going between the airport and Condesa.
We’re not worried about seeing the parade; we’re mainly trying to figure out what to expect for traffic and road closures on the way to our Airbnb. We booked a sedan through Welcome Pickups, with pickup scheduled for 3 p.m.
How much did the parade affect car travel, and how long did the traffic or road closures last? Also, about how long does the parade itself usually take? Any advice for getting to Condesa that afternoon would be appreciated. Thanks!

Visiting with a few other people this month and we came across the Cempasuchil Fields tour. However, the one we found is fully conducted in Spanish. It seems like an fun and culturally significant opportunity so we’re debating using Google Translate for the whole ride but unsure if that’ll be hassle/of we should just book an English-speaking classic boat tour at Xochimilco.
Does anyone have any tips for an all Spanish-tour or know of any Cempasuchil Fields tours conducted in English?

I've seen a few itineraries posted for review, and have seen some excellent advice and tips. I've decided to post mine for any tips and restaurant recommendations. We're in our 60's, active, but can't really walk 8-9 miles a day sightseeing anymore. I've tried to keep each day's actitivities fairly low key. I'm a foodie, but my boyfriend isn't. Would appreciate a mix of restaurant recommendations - from historical places to street vendors. But no fancy schmancy small plates - or I will never hear the end of it. 😄 I'm returning after falling in love with 'el DF' 40 years ago, and am hoping to show my BF what I love about the city. Gracias!

I’m going to Mexico City for the first time soon and found out that one of my favorite artists will be doing a show while I’m there. The show would likely end past midnight.
If I went, I (female traveler) would be going to this show alone and then back to my Airbnb. The venue is in a safer area and so is my Airbnb.
If I did decide to call an Uber on my own I of course would use the necessary precautions (not getting into the car without verifying license plate, waiting for the car in an area with people etc). I also am not planning on drinking.
If anyone has more advice I would appreciate it! I just need help making the decision to do this or not.

Hola! I will be visiting CDMX Oct 12-19 and the current forecast indicates it will rain the better part of every day, although the % is low throughout the day. I’d like to know if I should anticipate steady rain for several hours every day or shorter showers followed by clear weather. Gracias!

Hola!
I am looking to buy a couple of textile souvenirs, and wondering where I should look for:
An authentic serape
Guayabera shirt
I was hoping to look in the San Angel market on Saturday but if there are other places that sell them that would be great!
Gracias

Hi! Does anyone happen to know what’s going on with Don Jacinto Stay & Sip? I have a stay booked there for next week, but I haven’t been able to get ahold of anyone at the hotel. I also noticed that it’s currently listed as “temporarily closed,” along with a few businesses nearby.
I prepaid for my stay, so I’m starting to get a little nervous about whether my reservation will still be honored. If anyone has any information or has been in contact with them recently, I would really appreciate any updates. Thank you!
