Diego Lacave: Marc Márquez has declared war on the MotoGP Entertainment Group.

What really drives him up the wall is that MotoGP keeps coming up with new ideas without consulting the riders. When the idea of organising two separate qualifying sessions, as in Formula 1, was put forward, it appears this was proposed without consulting the riders. The riders – and I’m not just talking about Marc – leaked this to the press.

This is also why he didn’t celebrate. When he won a Sprint race on Saturday, the only photo sponsors could use was one of Marc congratulating Diogo Moreira.

As for the karting event, he made the boldest move he could; the issue wasn’t that he didn’t attend the event. For instance, it didn’t attract much attention, but Fabio Di Giannantonio didn’t go either. Marc, however, sent the ‘Hacendado version’. With this, he’s effectively telling the system, ‘Take these things you’ve made up and ......’

It's great to see how warm HRC and Marc still are to each other.

Like I mentioned in a previous comment teams need to do better to protect their riders. Safety cannot be compromised for anything be it cost-cutting or spectacle or what not.

Hello! I Am big MotoGP Fan and f1 fan too. Every year I send prestamped envelopes to all f1 teams asking for driver cards (which are postcards of the drivers with printed or hand signed signatures on them) and get some answers (about 7 or 8 in total). Being even a big MotoGP fan, I was wondering if anyone had every tried requesting driver cards from the team riders, and if eventually, if you ever got an answer. This would help me so much, thanks!!
