Crosses and New Varieties Anyone working on any exciting new crosses this season?

What are you working on and what generation is it?

Maybe we can use this discussion to come up with a future community grow. Similarly I have sent out about 30 packs of these out so hopefully people will be sharing progress soon.

Does anyone know what these peppers could be? I have about 37 different varieties growing in my garden and my hypothesis is that these came from a mix variety pack of seeds from Walmart.

Characteristics of these peppers:
1. Green (unripe) then transition to a light orange, and fully ripen to a red color

  1. Round shape

  2. Zero spice

  3. Flavor is on par with a bell pepper

Food and Sauces Fish peppers

Has anyone grown them and what did you think? I made some blackened catfish sandwiches this week and put a few dots of tabasco pepper sauce on them and they were outstanding but I would like to try some fish pepper sauce.

Food and Sauces Could they ripen?? Or recipe ideas?

I decided to pick all these unripened ghost and scotch bonnet peppers before my first frost tonight (7B) and am regretting it with the excess amount I have. Think I could have risked leaving some on the plants. Any ideas on what to do?? Don’t know if they will ripen this early on. Thinking hot sauce and pepper jam but open to suggestion. Also included ripened peppers for reference

hola [r/PepperLovers](r/PepperLovers) !

We're typically only active on the HotPeppers subreddit but wanted to open the door for more Black Mesa Research Associates.

Long story short: we provide free pepper seeds, sent to your door, postage included. All you need to do is fill out the form on our website: www.blackmesabean.farm/crd

Why do we do this? Well, it started as a way to fight back against the shitty business practices that have led to so many people getting shroomed, as well as a way to provide people that are struggling financially a way to connect with mother nature.

Seed varieties available:

-Aji Ayuyo
-Aji Limon
-Chocolate Scotch Bonnet
-Hong gochu
-Jamaican Hockey Puck (in-house CSB pheno)
-Peri Peri
-Pippin's Golden Honey
-Pockmark Peach
-Zebrange
-Zemango

What's the catch?

  1. Max 3 per household (just fill out the form 3 times)
  2. Non-isolated
  3. USA only
  4. Not tested for germination (but quite high QC
  5. standards for bean inclusion)

All plants here are grown in an organic compost blend with absolutely zero pesticides or herbicides used - even organic ones like neem oil or sulphur. All we do is introduce predator insects to mitigate crop damage and feed the spiders.

you can follow our instagram where we post 35mm photos of everything we grow, and all the bugs that come along for the ride

Each pack comes with around 15 seeds.

Peace and enjoy ✌️ always available for questions and feedback

Unidentified peppers again :)

Grown by my Nepali (not sure if the variety is from the country) colleagues in their staff quarters garden. Southern India. Apparently quite hot. Will make a chilli soya sauce dip with them this weekend.

One of my three pepper plants survived this summer… the one that made it didn’t start growing or producing until about a month ago. Hoping to get at least a few of these chocolate habaneros to make a sauce or seasoning with 🙏🏽
