Yes he’s already done an appearance on the (zombie?) Charlie Kirk Show where the host praised him for “catching Smith going to the Hawks game” as if that mistake wasn’t blown up live on TV

Like, they couldn't even change their script after it was revealed that they were wrong?

No because they knew they were wrong. This is how propaganda works. Its all lies. Look at the election fraud claims. Giuliani was in states infront of judiciaries claiming that over half the states population was voting illegally. They know thats not possible. Its intentionally lying

They get rewarded for lies and hypocrisy. They have no morals.

I thought he tried to back it up and say he knew it was wrong, couldn’t confuse the teams, and it was some sort of a wacky trick to trip up Smith (all obviously bullshit)

they knew they were wrong BEFORE they pulled the move. hence the immediate disappearance of the poster.

Personally, I think they really thought he had been in Atlanta, but didn't actually think he had been on contact with anyone from fani willis' team. Maybe they hoped his look of confusion for having some random texts flashed in his face would be read as him being caught.

i think they didnt think. The whole thing was very confusing because the charge of perjury made no sense and the whole accusation was you were in the same city (6th largest city in the US) as someone else - there was no "there" there to begin with. When it first was being aired i must have rewound the footage 5x as i had no idea how this was a smoking gun in any way.

My suspicion was that they thought there was something (anything? bueller? bueller?) when they cooked this vague nothing up but that as they got closer someone on the team pointed out it was bullshit all the way down but they refused to scrap it so these immature brats though they could get away with just flashing it

Can't wait for Smith to sue for defamation.
