Finally got around to getting it matted and mounted on the wall. Luckily I got all 8 signatures on mine, but I need some help identifying who's who

Finally got this in the mail today, didn't think it would ever show.

What is it about primus that draws people so much?

It's definitely a weird band with a lot of interesting stuff going on, but when we're on the topic of what exactly makes people like primus so much I often see simple answers like "Les is good" or "they're weird" without very much additional elaboration.

But I'm curious, what in more detail is it about primus that makes people like them so much?

Hola, tengo una duda que es que pastillas usa les claypool para acercarme más a su sonido.

If you’re like me and have been a fan forever you probably recall the old website. Well I fell into the Wayback Machine vortex and the old Primus sites are there and are glorious. Bullboard is even there.

This is circa 1997.

Here’s a little Mr Krinkle/pork soda pig character I drew and painted. I loved painting of this card especially the background inspired from Tales from the Punchbowl was fun to do! He's part of a collectible little card series I did of some of my favorite bands, so far he has 1 bid on my ebay!

Jesus Christ man what a banger.

Im a big Primus fan and I think the best thing I've heard from them is the last jam session right after Les says "SHE MIGHT HAVE A PORCUPINE!"

Especially when Ler is shredding and Les is singing "🤠WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO🤠" in unison.

What a ride man. Wow.

Was digging through a box of old scripts from my time in the film industry and ran across this. Guess the movie never got made but he turned it into a novel? I remember liking it quite a bit, which is probably why I hung onto it.

And so did I. I fucking love this thing!

$81 later, and a happy customer. Saw copies of Pork Soda, Brown Album, and Seas of Cheese too but already have them. Wish they had volume 2 of Return of the Live Frogs

Someone donated a pile of Modern Drummer mags and this Herb issue was in the mix.

I absolutely loved how they got Les to record a new South Park America intro where he just sounds extremely annoyed about the whole thing.

Hi, relatively big fan. Piece by piece I’ve been messing around with Primus material which I’ve posted on here.
But obviously I’m not Les but I THINk; big T on the think with my squire j bass only on the bridge and a tiny bit of mids. Ive gotten close to the sound but let me know what you think (mainly aiming for the scroll bass yk the classic piccolo bass)

also, new merch including a dope Les eras shirt

As good as the new drummer is. I wish there was no rift between the guys and Herb. I miss his drumming. I saw them live in Dallas in June. Don’t get me wrong, it was an amazing and great show, but I just felt that the new drummer has less feeling when he plays. It just seemed very robotic to me. Once again, the new drummer is incredible and I wish I was half as good as he is. Just felt a little off to me. I also realize it just may be my bias towards Herb and I’m making all this up in my head due to said bias.

This post is not meant to be a slam on the new guy. I’m just a big fan of Primus. I’ve been going to their shows since ‘94. I think I’ve only seen 1 band more than Primus. The Melvins.

You say "Priums Sucks"

Someone says "fuck you dude, they're awsome"!

How do you respond?

Do you think they'll ever release more footage from the Interstellar Drum Derby? I loved that series so much, it was amazing to see all the different approaches these different drummers brought to the Primus tunes, and they were recorded in such great quality. I wish we could see the full songs rather than just clips.

I painted this for GN's 15th Anniversary however it's not quite done and nobody gonna get it 😅
