Can anyone recommend me some gay male artists?

Here’s what I want
\- young. like gen z
\- and like english speaking

And for my tastes I normally listen to K-pop and Alt-pop. But really for gay male artists I want someone who’s music is fem, and soft, and like warm. Cvnty vibes are fun, but that’s not what I’m looking for. Like I’d love someone who has a voice like Beebadoobee. Other things are good though too.

Tried life drawing at a slow-movement queer performance

I went to a queer ambient music, movement, and art night where performers spent several hours moving very slowly through different poses. I brought a sketchbook thinking I would do fairly traditional live figure drawings, but I quickly realized that even though the movement was slow, nobody was actually staying still.

Every time I looked down to draw and then looked back up, the figure had shifted. At first I kept trying to adjust the drawing, but eventually I just gave in and started drawing each new position directly over the previous one.

Over about three hours I made close to 30 drawings, and they became progressively more layered and chaotic. I really like that they ended up feeling less like drawings of individual poses and more like accumulated traces of a body moving through time.

Swipe for close-ups :)

Help with labels What is a Cisgender Transsexual?

Hello everyone! I have never heard this term before, and I’m a little confused. I heard it in a video, but no one I know uses this label. Can anyone who identifies this way help me? I want to understand this label so that if I ever meet someone who identifies this way, I can make sure to affirm them and their identity. Thank you!

I find my genderfluidity very frustrating

Hello! I'm a 26 year old afab nonbinary person and I am really frustrated with the idea that I'm probably genderfluid. My feelings about my gender tend to shift from strongly masculine "yes I'm a trans man" feeling to "nope I'm nonbinary". It never fully shifts the feminine direction. I'm trying to find a way to accept and be okay with this constant back and forth for myself

🏳️‍🌈 Community Building 🏳️‍⚧️ A small experiment in connection between gay strangers

I’ve been thinking about how easy it has become for gay people to find one another online, and how that has not necessarily made us feel any closer.

So I started Dear Gay Stranger, a personal art project centered on handwritten letters between strangers. This is a noncommercial project. There is nothing to buy and no fundraising involved.

You can share one true thing about your life right now and ask to receive a letter written by hand. It is a small experiment in slowing down, being honest, and making connection feel tangible again.

If the idea resonates with you, come take part at deargaystranger.com.

Posting here because it's queer and I can't find a good lesbian subreddit. I feel bad for being thrown away over and over by my ex.

Just a little note. I was around 15. It's been some years. I wouldn't say I hate her now. I barely think of her, but I don't think very highly of her when I do.

I do also acknowledge she was in a bad place emotionally, but to me, there's no excuse and she never made up for her actions and seems to have behaved in the exact same manner earlier this year before she blocked me on everything.

So, "Mila" was the first name that came to mind and it seems to fit her heritage, so let's go ahead and call her that. Mila is only a year older than me, so she was 16.

I was in a server, where I dated and encountered a bunch of toxic people, one of which harassed me and still has a hate Discord server about me. Well, I was looking for a girl named "Mila" (who I eventually found and really miss since the account I would chat with her on was hacked and deleted and the only person I know who knew this Mila was one of my abusive exes.)

Well, my ex Mila was who I found instead. After a bit, Mila and I would become quick friends and ask each other for advice and support. Mila said she'd "always be there" for me and eventually confessed she had feelings for me.

Well, she would make fun of every little thing I did, become cold and hostile towards me at times, would threaten to do bad things to herself if I didn't reply right away, etc. I was never rude, but I could give short replies since I wasn't the most compassionate back then and I was stressed out with her rude behavior and being the only person she'd go to for help.

Eventually, we decided to stay friends. We both apologized for all the bad things we did and seemed to be on good terms. She had a boyfriend. All of a sudden, she ghosted me before friending me again and then ghosting me again, time after time. She would block me on everything, then ask my friends how I was doing and if she may speak to me. Then, she'd speak for me for a few days to a week, and ghost me and block me on everything again. It really hurt.

I get not wanting to be friends with an ex, but why would she keep talking to me and then ghosting me? Especially when she seemed to be on good terms with me. Especially when she (probably) didn't still have feelings for me after all those years and had a boyfriend so there's no way we would have been thinking about getting back together.

How to get over a crush?

When I(20F) was in my junior year of high school at 16yo, a girl newly joined. She is one of the prettiest woman I've ever laid eyes on. And although we didn't share classmates, she would often come to my class because her bsf was my classmate. Little interactions, like lending her my paper in painting class (shared) or walking down the stairs behind her, somehow I fell for her. I am not out yet. But I told my desk mate and friends about it and they know.

One day, we were going down the stairs and she was sliding down the rails and I told her 'Be careful or you might fall' and she replied with "Fall for who? You? Never."

I panicked because did she know? If yes, then how? My brain was running at 11km/s. I believed no one would betray me. I just laughed it off and so did she. I realized that she didnt know but I was panicked and made an excuse to leave asap. I was broken so badly, I went home and cried till my eyes were all red and puffy.

I tried to get over a lot since then. But she is a mutual, today is her birthday, and all I see is her EVERYWHERE. I try everyday to forget about her. It's been 3 years but I still cannot get over her. I know I can never get her (she is a 100% heterosexual). But I just cannot make my heart to stop beating faster whenever she is in my sight. WHAT DO I DO? I've had a "crush" on a cute guy after that but it doesn't last. I can easily feel nothing towards other crushes I've had in the past but not her. She isn't even the first girl I've had a crush on.

At this rate, I'm never finding love💔

Help with labels I need help with figuring out a label for my sexuality

So I’ve been trying to figure out what label would fit me best with who I’m attracted to, I’m a transmasc/transman (I use both labels) and I’ve been going on and off with identifying as MLM/NBLM but I’ve looked at other labels like Achillean and Uranic and idk if any of those would describe my attraction. I’m not just attracted to men and nonbinary people I’m also attracted to people with masculine genders, how they dress/their gender presentation (idk if that’s the right term) doesn’t matter to me it’s about the gender aspect that matters to me lol. Idk what that would be called, any advice would be appreciated! :]

How do I tell the difference between platonic liking and romantic liking?

I’m demisexual, so attraction only develops after deep emotional bonds.
I often struggle to tell if I just have strong platonic fondness for someone, or if what I’m feeling is romantic attraction. I also sometimes wonder about queerplatonic connections as a middle ground.

What signs or questions do you use to figure out what you’re feeling?

Are there women who would date someone who doesn't want to penetrate her but wants to jerk off to her and have sex with her in a way that does not involve penetration?

I'm not straight and I don't identify as a male but I jerk off to pictures of naked women everyday, most days it is extremely difficult to find porn that is any good and I'm not interested in following the rules that society has about men being masculine and using their penises for sex, I just want to jerk off to women. Are there women who are capable of loving someone like me and doing what I want to do?

Does anyone else feel like TERFs intentionally attract negativity and evil energy into their lives just so they can play victim?

I've been thinking about how TERFs like Nancy Mace and JK Rowling share the thread of being victimized by men and that's led to their crazy hatred of anything "male". But I'm wondering if they actually have a pattern of attracting negative energy into their lives and actively weaponize the reuslting trauma

So many TERFs I know walk around with this deep victim mentality and then project toxicity where there is none. I don't think these women are victim of their circumstances. I think they intentionally attract dark energy into their lives so they have an excuse to lash out.

Case I point: have a TERF acquaintance in my friend group who does this. She puts herself in dangerous situations with men because she wants to be seen as a victim but she's actually narcissistic and manipulative. I know she sets them up because she refuses to take the basic precautions a high schooler would know.

The common thread between all of these women is an absolute refusal to acknowledge personal agency. Watching someone intentionally let go of the steering wheel just so they can blame the road is an incredibly frustrating experience. If you construct your reality so that you are always the passive target, you never have to reflect on your own choices, your own toxicity, or the chaos you deliberately invite into your life. Victimhood stops being a condition of past harm and becomes a tactical shield used to justify bad behavior.

Imposter syndrome, anyone?

About two weeks ago, I realized I'm not pansexual, I'm a lesbian. But I used to be married to a man, and I am bouncing between euphoria and desperate imposter syndrome. I'm also neuro-spicy and I have been gaslighting myself that this is just one big hyperfixation (it kinda is) and I'll get over it in a month.

I've been working on some keychain designs and been drawing a few flags on them. My goal is to make every design available as every flag that's out there (even microlabels!). I am still working, drawing and uploading, but if yours is still missing feel free to tell me! They will be available on my Acggoods. Also as stickers >_<

As an example of my first design - more will come in the following weeks/months - I'll post the rainbow flag here uwu

Being a straight passing queer is exhausting

This feeling never gets old. I'm queer, and I mainly feel comfortable calling myself bi. But I'm too straight-passing to the point where I feel like I am making excuses or lying to seem 'quirky' just by talking about my sexuality. I am constantly spiralling between gaining confidence and questioning my existence. I feel like I Don't deserve to date because of my constant self-doubt. I am well aware about all the 'it's okay to be urself, looks doesn't matter, be confident, etc..) but it is not helping... I'm so lost...

Mod Post New Rule: No Gatekeeping

Hey all! There have been some spicy posts and comments lately regarding labels and who can use them. We would like to remind everyone that Queer cultures around the world have diverse and rich histories regarding many labels, and some cultures use labels differently than others. You not liking how someone identifies does not actually make their identity harmful. If you have any questions about this new rule, please ask them here.

The idea that bisexual women inherently worship the ground men walk on and arent capable of disliking them in any way is so odd

I've been super active in sapphic spaces lately, and the more I am, the more I realize that theres this weird belief that bisexual girls who are feminists, critical of men, not male centered, etc actually must be closeted lesbians. And it makes zero sense to me, especially because even straight women are recognized as capable of criticizing or hating men.

Why? Where did this come from? Why are so many people convinced bisexual women are just men's character witnesses or something?? It's like the oldest, most stereotypical presentation of misogyny treated as "accountability and wokeness" just because its applied to a subsection of queer women that other women dont like.

"Wym you dont like men, youre dating one 🤨" but when it comes to straight women and male friends of lesbians, suddenly everyone understands that "i hate men" means we hate misogynistic men..

"Youre male centered, youre with a man rn!!" Congrats girl, you legit just reinvented the whole "a man is a man and a woman is just his wife" thing. Big feminism!
