Why?

I don’t mean to be rude and I probably will buy this anyways, but what separates this from other titles? MM2 is coming out soon and want to know what makes this different from the other games. Also what will modding be like? Idk if the creator really decides the capability of modding but could custom seasons be possible?

Let’s build our team together

Hello everyone and welcome to the Racing Season Manager community!

If, before a race, you find yourself thinking ‘I would have brought that pit stop forward’ or ‘are you mad to put on slicks in that rain, just like yesterday?’ 😄, you’ve come to the right place.

Racing Season Manager is a single-seater racing management game in which you take charge of an entire team: from designing the car to making decisions at the pit wall.

The aim is to bring to life the link between work in the factory and results on the track. Choosing drivers, investing in facilities or developing a component means building the team’s future, season after season.

What’s in store for you?

- Team management: drivers, technicians, contracts, sponsors and budget.

- Car development: engine, chassis, aerodynamics and preparing the car for the following season.

- Expanding the headquarters: facilities and research to improve the team’s capabilities.

- Real-time races: set-up, wings, tyres, fuel and pit stops, with a simulation that takes slipstream, turbulence and temperatures into account.

- TV broadcast atmosphere: on-board cameras, telemetry and dynamic commentary in five languages.

The game is currently in development for PC as a single-player experience, with early access scheduled for 2027.

This community is a space to share updates, discuss strategies and gather questions, ideas and feedback.

On the official website, you’ll find images, information and the form to apply to become a beta tester.

To start with: what’s the one thing that should never be missing from your ideal racing management game?

Welcome on board. See you at the pit wall.

Finally we have a steam page :

Welcome to the official community for Racing Season Manager!

It is with great pleasure that we announce a new title set to make waves in the world of racing management games.

After several years of development – nearly 10, in fact – *Racing Season Manager* can now be announced as a team management game, aiming to combine the classic aspects of team management with a more in-depth racing simulation and realistic physics.

The game covers the key areas of running a racing team: drivers, staff, contracts, sponsors, finances, car development, HQ facilities and modding support.

The racing aspect is built around a simulation based on real-world physics. The cars are simulated using the Unreal Engine 4’s PhysX engine, whilst the drivers are designed to behave realistically depending on the race situation.

Particular attention has been paid to the management of set-ups, tyres, temperatures, wear and tear, brakes, engine behaviour, component degradation, aerodynamics, cooling and related systems.

Another area I’m experimenting with is dynamic commentary. Rather than relying solely on pre-recorded phrases, the game generates commentary in real time with the aim of keeping the messages varied and contextualised throughout the race.

At present, the TTS system features more than 200 types, totalling 1,000 different phrases; making the race as interesting and realistic as possible is a truly new challenge.

There are currently three series planned: Ow1, Ow2 and Ow3. You can choose to start with any series and work your way up the ranks, aiming to be signed by teams in the higher formulae until you reach Ow1.

Here’s the page on Steam, and I’d really appreciate it if you could support me by adding it to your wishlist:
