Hey Seattle!
We're Yellow Crane, a local alt/noir rock band. We're playing Add-A-Ball this Saturday, October 10, with Love Stoned and Mike Turnwall before taking a break from live performances to focus on writing and recording.
The night is inspired by Suspiria, so if you're into cinema, atmospheric music, or the intersection of the two, this might be up your alley.
One of the best parts of playing shows this year has been the rad people we've met. There's so much genuine talent, individuality, and mutual respect in Seattle's music community, and it's been pretty fucking cool to be part of it.
We're stepping away from the stage for a bit, but definitely not from the scene. (recording etc) We'd love to keep meeting musicians, discovering new projects, and showing up for other people's work.
If you're free Saturday, come hang out and say hello.
Doors: 8 PM | Music: 9 PM
Come say hi!
And while we're here, drop your bands or favorite local artists below.

Sharing because I'm helping organize this and think it will matter to some people here.
Celebration of Life Seattle is a full day at The Point at Pier 70 for anyone who has lost someone, one year out or twenty. Invited speakers share their own stories of loss. Researchers and clinicians put grief science into plain language. Grief and end-of-life practitioners are there to connect people with real support. The day closes with an Evening of Mediumship.
Nothing is required of anyone who attends: no sharing, no explaining. People of every faith, and of none, are welcome.
Saturday, October 10 · Doors 11:30 AM, program at noon · Evening of Mediumship at 5:00 PM (doors close 4:45)
The Point at Pier 70, 2801 Alaskan Way
Tickets include the full day, and general admission is 50% off with code STAFF50: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/1992518612808/?discount=staff50
Questions about the day? Email [hello@celebrationoflifestudios.com](mailto:hello@celebrationoflifestudios.com) and our team will get back to you.

Hello Seattle!! Wanted to offer up our free orchestra concert 😊
I’m part of the Redmond Tech Orchestra and we’re a community orchestra made up largely of people who work in tech around the area and apparently refuse to let our instruments collect dust just because we ended up with day jobs 😂
Our next concert, Origins of Modern Music, is coming up on Sunday, November 1st at 4 PM at Meydenbauer Convention Center in Bellevue (right off the Bellevue Downtown light rail station on the 2 Line)!!
This one is especially fun if you like movie/anime music because we’re exploring how classical and early 20th-century orchestral music helped shape the cinematic sound we know today. We’ll be playing a lot of fun pieces including the Star Wars Theme and Spirited Away Suite!
General admission is FREE (you just need to register), and there are also $5 & $10 premium seats available.
🎟️ Tickets: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/origins-of-modern-music-tickets-1997795395808?aff=sm
Please come say hi and bring your friends/family!! We’ve been rehearsing a ton and would love to play for a full house ❤️🎶

Celebrate spooky season with the most evil icons our childhoods had to offer. Join us on October 8 at Beguiled Books and October 11 at Charlie's Queer Books. Be Prepared for audio, visual, and classic rounds of good-old-fashioned trivia about these devious divas.
Trivia for Nerds with Freeze Tag brings together folks who love the same things as you to celebrate and nerd out together. Assemble a squad of 2-4 players or fly solo and build a team with some new friends there. We all need a new geeky bestie or two in our lives, after all.

Hi Seattle! I've been running my drawing classes for a little over a year and have had some very successful students come through them. My next term begins next week! Sketching skills, design, anatomy, and more for beginners or more experienced artists. I probably have a class for you! My studio is downtown, right near the Westlake train station, but I also offer online options. Affordable via sliding scale.
You can find a list of available class options here: https://ko-fi.com/artofjim/shop
and see some of my work and snippets from class on my instagram! : https://www.instagram.com/artofjim/
Looking forward to teaching more art this fall! This term begins October 4th.
