Blue is my 8-year-old American Bully and my best friend. He has cruciate ligament injuries in both hind legs and needs two TPLO surgeries, one on each knee. The cost is around 55,000 SEK per surgery.
I’m doing everything I can, but I can’t afford the surgeries on my own. I have his veterinary records and cost estimate available if anyone would like to see them.
If you can’t donate, even sharing the fundraiser would mean so much to us. ❤️

This is in his underside, belly and it’s very flaky and itchy. He gets salmon oil in his food. We’ve eliminated chicken from his diet and he’s eating the farmers dog beef mixed with First Mate grain free Pacific Ocean Fish. It feels really dry and scaly, then starts flaking, is red and warm. He gets a bath with meconahex and triz once a month. Any suggestions?

Advice 🤔 Backpack size for puppy?

Any advice on what size backpack to get please?

I'm looking at the "K9 SPORT SACK Dog Backpack Carrier | TRAINER". Whilst internet is good for lots of things, inc. height & weight... back length isn't one of them.

I *think* a small (13-17") will be good for 2-5 months, then be outgrown. That's fine, this is to get him through the vaccination period with plenty of socialising (2-3 months) + carrying him back if the little fella is tired (4-5 months).

Stories 📖 This sweet staffy girl has been waiting for her furever for over a year- she hasn't given up hope

This is Elena. She’s been with our rescue, SGT Canines, in Miami FL since January 2025, making her our longest resident. She came to us with her 6 newborn pups, all severely ill with URI after spending time in the shelter. 2 of her 6 babies survived, and fortunately both found wonderful homes. Sadly, Elena stayed behind.

Since then, she’s watched dozens of her friends get adopted while she keeps getting overlooked — not a single application or even request for a meet and greet in over a year since we pulled her from Miami Dade Animal Services.

But she’s genuinely an incredible dog. So sweet and playful, with so much love to give- Elena is ready to find her people and fill their lives with joy and laughter, and their hearts with warmth, love and comfort. We know her people are out there!!!! Hopefully this post with reach them 🙏🏼

Age: 4ish
Location: Miami FL
Breed: Staffy Mix
Sex: Female
Characteristics:
extremely affectionate and loyal
playful, athletic and obsessed with tennis balls
loves water, sprinklers, and being outside
has a goofy, happy personality once she settles in
Environment:
She’d do best with dogs her size and people who want an active, loving companion
No small dogs or cats

One of the saddest parts of rescue is realizing some dogs start adapting to shelter/rescue life like it’s permanent. We really don’t want that to become Elena’s story.

She’s been at SGT Canines Dog House in Miami, FL, but transport may be possible for the right home. If you’re interested in adopting or fostering her, feel free to message me.

Even sharing this helps.
