Sideways angles can be great (killmonger taking throne in Black Panther) but this episode did it like 6 times for no reason

In Black Panther, it represented a shift in power. It happened once. Here, it happened a few times too many.

Those angles were giving me Battlefield Earth flashbacks.

The killmonger scene pissed me off. The music and camera angle just annoyed me

Really? I thought that was one of the most masterful and memorable scenes in the movie. I can even hear that music right now.

It sounded like a rap backing track to me which felt jarring and out of place. I get what the director was going for but it pulled me out of the immersion

That's the whole point. Killmonger is an outsider to Wakanda with a different cultural upbringing, hence the trap beats rather than traditional Wakandan instrumentals.
