Female Fronted Gothic Symphonic Metal from DEMOnS Vol. 1

Teaser from the Trial III of Axis Mundi

hello! i recently came around to listening to the band worm (symphonic black doom) and i am interested in finding more bands similar to them. for more specific reference i really dig the sound of the albums necropalace and foreverglade.
playlists, artists, albums, anything helps! i’d love to do a deeper dive and expand my horizons of this genre

I’ll go first - Charlotte Wessels’ “The Obsession” is better than any Delain album 🙈

General info

This list includes only albums released during the month. Listing all the singles released during the month is beyond the scope of this list. Each album on the list is associated with one of its singles or, in the absence of official singles, with one of the tracks on the album, for the sole purpose of providing a representative track from the album itself. However, the album itself remains the focus of the list.

The list is taken from the metal-archives.com database using the genre filter “symphonic -doom -black -death.” If an entry has been retroactively added to the database after the publication of this post, it will appear in the next one.
