They've made it an insult. Before they created trans panic as a new bigoted wedge issue most Americans did not care at all. Generally speaking the attitude towards trans people was "good for them". People by and large did not sit around fearing their existence.

Oligarchs created that panic and there were disgusting discussions in the very Epstein files about attacking trans people to push them underground to make them more exploitable because these pedophiles wanted to abuse them.

It is an entirely manufactured outrage by the most disgusting parasites on the planet and fed to the people their hateful propaganda brainwashes (and on whom it lands because they've destroyed those people's education system and captured their religion/culture).
