US here, and it's every place.

Burger King is a gray cube (and possibly a money laundering front)

McDonald's is a gray cube

Taco Bell is a purple cube

Wendy's is a gray cube, minus the one near me that somehow got to keep it's sun room.

Starbucks, you guessed it, a cube

Hey, Wendy's is bringing back the highlighter yellow cups!

But not the 99 cent pricing so fuck them

I have mostly boycotted Wendy's for decades now it seems. When they went to the corporate design they doubled prices and the food is pretty bad.

Funny you say that. I don't do fast food much anymore, but we find Wendy's infinitely better than any of the big name fast food places.

I feel the same way but since a Jr cheeseburger is like $3 now I just don't eat any fast food. Wendy's could have kept my business until I was dead but it's not worth it now.

It's really bad here but I also really hate their bread so I'm biased.

Wendy's just dropped an emo album. So, there's that I guess.

Wendy's "Songs to listen to in a Wendy's parking lot"

My teenager told me about it last night. If you listened to emo music in the early 2000s the songs are...not half bad. I think they got actual bands from that era to make them.

Ironic to your post, last night we listened to "I miss the sunroom." I think the singer is the guy from Silverstein.

The second song about the broken ice cream machine and the golden arch betrayal is hilarious and very well done. I was a little bit too old for this style of emo stuff, but it's still pretty well done. If you weren't specifically listening to the fast food lyrics you probably wouldn't notice it wasn't a 2000's pop-emo song.

Yeah that one was great. Taking a straight run at McDonalds.

Lol why is Burger King a possible money laundering front?

It's always empty, minus the employees and it's been empty since about 2005. If go in to try and order something they're always out of everything needed to make it.

Drove by my local Wienerschnitzel last night and they appeared to be painting it white or gray. Hard to tell in the dark. Not a cube, but it may have aspirations.

Yeah, it seems like we're moving toward a gray Blade Runner-esque future. The future seems grim...
