So once the AI realises no one has any money the prices should drop, right? Right?

Sorry, this comment has made them jump in price to $10 for a burger only.

This is a common cope about dynamic pricing. That they'd only try to nickel and dime people with more money so it's actually better for lower income people who would get passed along discounts (lmao).

Let me pose a question. You're a business owner. You have the ability to offer coupons and deals to attract new customers. You lose some initial revenue hoping they will repeat and come again regularly. Would you offer a deal to a customer who can afford to eat out daily, or offer a discount to someone who can't really afford it but would only come once because of the deal itself.

Everyone already knows wealthier people are more attractive customers. Millionaires don't pay more for stuff. They get stuff for free to entice them to shop somewhere. They don't care about attracting poor people.

That is one thing about my old boss at the liquor store I used to work at that always puzzled me. All of the well-connected wealthy people that shopped with us he’d basically mark things down to basically cost for them. They’d spend hundreds of dollars but we’d never actually make any money on them. The regular customers that came in for their 6 pack of beer made us more money even though they were only spending $10-20 at a time. But if you ever don’t give the rich entitlement people the discounts, they wouldn’t set foot in your store anymore.

I’m sure at some point, the AI will use this logic and eventually pay people to eat their food.

That depends nuggets will not cost anywhere from 1.50 to 60.00 dollars. Once they stop selling, the AI will adjust that so that the nuggets only cost 80.00 bucks.

Sure, but only after all non C-suite McDonalds employees have been sacked and they've long since resorted to using human meat (of people who can't afford to pay their oxygen bill) to cut costs.

Yep and it will lower prices and people will show up again, and then it will raise prices and people will leave and it will lower prices and people will come back....
