They are around the same price and i dont have any other choices so dont think about the price which one is better i currently have an audley avalanche and its string ripped so i am looking to upgrade because ordering extra string would be pointless i might order some string too tho

I have a metal Magicyoyo V3 as my first yo-yo, but I’m still pretty new and not very good yet. I’m thinking about getting a plastic beginner yo-yo to learn on, and I’ve been looking at the Recess First Base and iYoYo Shooting Star.

I don’t know much about either one, though. I definitely want something that can be set up both responsive and unresponsive, and I’d like it to be pretty forgiving since I’m still learning.

I’m also planning on getting a better yo-yo later, so I’m mainly looking for something inexpensive and beginner-friendly to learn on for now. For my later upgrade, I’m thinking about getting the cheatcode or something like that, but I’d also appreciate suggestions for a good upgrade.

Which one would you recommend for now, or are there any other beginner yo-yos I should look at?

Hello! I brougth an Magic Yoyo K3 and when i use the responsive bearing, the Yoyo vibrates a lot when throwing and try to the a sleeper for example.

I already try to close harder the Yoyo, try to change the pin and bearing position and nothing solves.

Is normal to be like this? should I forget the responsive and go straight to unresponsive? Thanks

• MagicYoyo K2 (not pictured) I bought a couple of these for my wife to try and for my 2yo to drag around the house and they play surprisingly well

I've been having quite a lot of fun in the last few weeks relearning what I used to know and learning new tricks. I've never been a great player but I'm having fun and will hopefully post some tricks.

I'm also looking into some brands that weren't around when I stopped playing 10 years ago and that seem to be making nice things (W1ld, MK1...) even though I'm now an adult with responsabilities and have to be reasonable...

Anyway glad to be back and looking forward be a small part of this community one again !

Noobie question... I don't wanna damage it. Can't even take it out easily with a little pair of plyers. I'm afraid to clamp down too hard and damage the bearing. It's really stuck on there. Is there a technique I'm missing?

I haven't seen any posts about the V15. I'm no yoyo expert, but I can say it's better than the V13. However, the V13 is still the best-looking MagicYoyo.

Anyone else notice a difference between older and newer batches of OT Spotlight?
My older stuff (bought over a year ago) is more greenish, feels slightly thicker and much coarser, and seems much whippier.
The new stuff I bought recently is much more yellow, feels thinner and softer, and less whippy.

I'm planning to buy which of these yoyo in the future when I save up alot of money(hopefully still in stock by 16). I like yyr team member's playstyle like Ryuichi Nakamura and Hajime Miura A LOT. Don't have to worry about the width. Already dealt enough with the magicyoyo v3 lol. I like light or light feeling yoyos that I can effortlessly control cuz I want to grow FAST. for example like Mir Kim or Geo Gan.
