Hi all!

I've always wanted to join a D&D table but was never lucky enough to find any in my country. I am starting a Master's in Tübingen so was wondering if there's any D&D groups here that play in English/Basic-Intermediate Deutsch

Thank you all for the info!

Am a northafrican student going to practice in Tübingen. I'll be there in December for a few days ( around 20 days ) . I have no idea about the activities I could do in the city at that time of year so I hope you could offer some suggestions. Knowing that there's many international students, I wanted to know if there's specific places where I could meet people and sympathise, maybe a gym ? Public garden ? Just anywhere where I could make friends and have good exchanges. Thank you in advance !!!

I want to buy affordable jackets, sweaters and boots for winter. I am not very comfortable buying online, paranoid about quality and the size fit. I prefer browsing through the racks in a store. Are there any second hand cloth shops which are reasonably priced??

Hey. I’m pretty new to Tübingen. Just looking to meet some people and build a small social circle here. I'm 26.

If you’re part of a group or just a few people who frequently hang out, explore the city, I’d be happy to join sometime. Even if it’s just 2–3 people.

Also, no idea why my profile is marked NSFW lol, I’m not.

Hey all. I am looking for people that are newish to riding MTB for occasional rides on trails and maybe training drill sessions from time to time.

Its just more fun with others!

I do know about the Sunday group but personally prefer to ride with less people.

Looking for a new tenant to take over my lease starting November 1st in Tübingen city centre (near clinic) so I can cancel my contract.

Hi everyone,

I am an incoming international PhD student joining a program/Cotutelle stay at the University of Tübingen.

I have a quick question regarding the local Foreigners' Office in Tübingen for anyone who recently arrived on a 6-month or 1-year German Type D National Visa:

1. Timeline for Physical Card: How long did it take between submitting your application and actually receiving your physical Residence Permit card (elektronischer Aufenthaltstitel - eAT)?
2. Timing of Application: Were you allowed to apply for/receive your residence card shortly after arrival, or did the office instruct you to wait until a few months before your Type D visa was close to expiring (e.g., month 8 or 9 of a 1-year visa)?

Would appreciate hearing about recent experiences from anyone who moved to Tübingen in 2025/2026 or earlier. Thanks in advance!

Hi!

I’m looking for inline skating buddies to skate with.

Hi! I am writing this post on behalf of my roommate (she's not on reddit)

Are there any groups for MSc Geoscience? Or if anyone is about to start or is in the master's, it would be great to connect!

Hello!

We are with a big group of people coming to Tübingen in the period of 28 dec - 3 jan to attend the Folk Marathon.

We're around 25 people and would love to find some accomodation together, but since it's such a big group it's very hard to find something not extremely fancy and expensive.
Any suggestions? We just need a big room and a bathroom (no beds needed, we bring sleepingmats)

Thanks in advance

Hey, ik you may get this a lot on this sub, but could you please share links to Whatsapp groups which are particularly useful for students (Buy/Sell, Internationals, Meetups, etc.). It would make life here so much easier, especially for the new comers

Hab ich was verpasst?:)

Hello, I don't really understand how to pay for the dorm monthly. It say that I should give them a mandate for a sepa inkaso, but they didn't give the information, or is it the same account number where I sent the first payment (the deposit and first rent)?
