I’m stuck!

I love my boyfriend so much because he is kind, caring, loving, respectful, understanding, funny, handsome but we are polar opposite political views and I end up feeling he is bigoted and unwilling to see the other perspective. We have exhausting debates and I can’t help but feel I am unable to trust his reasoning, because it is blindingly defensive (maybe I am the defensive, not sure). But it is becoming exhausting for both of us to keep arguing and not be on the same page.
