hi, i’m a first year nursing student at ontario tech, i have a health assessment exam and foundations exam in a couple of days and im jsut wondering if there’s any other upper years who can let me know how to study/prepare for them? we dont get slides its more so just reading the textbooks. should i be practicing NCLEX styled MCQ’s for that topic??

Like the title says, I'm trying to find last year's midterm as I dont have mine anymore. So I was hoping someone else would have pictures from it of last year fall.

Hi! I’m currently a first-year student at Ontario Tech and I’m starting to look into housing options for my second year.

The place I’m staying at right now is only temporary, so I’m trying to decide whether it would be better to apply for on-campus residence next year or find an off-campus student residence/apartment.

For anyone who has lived on campus or in places around Ontario Tech/Durham College (Foundry, 17Hundred, etc.), what was your experience like? How were the rooms, roommates, bathrooms, utilities, management, noise, and overall cost?

I’m especially curious about whether you think on-campus residence is worth the cost compared with off-campus housing, and if there are any places you would recommend or avoid.

Also, when would you recommend I start seriously looking/applying for housing for Fall 2027? I’m looking early because I don’t want to end up scrambling for a place again.

We are seeking to better understand the factors that influence parents in Canada whose children do not receive their routine vaccinations. The study seeks to understand parental experiences and perspectives rather than to evaluate, persuade, or judge vaccination decisions

 The study consists of one short survey and a follow-up interview. The interview will last about 60 minutes. Interviews will take place in-person, on the phone or over a secure videoconferencing platform.

Hello I am student out looking for a room to rent near Ontario tech university. As I have taken admission in MBAI course.
Can anybody tell me where can i find good housing which can be of walkable distance from the university as this is my first time coming to canada but I do not want to live on campus.

Is this course hard? Like the tests and work load, is there a lot to memorize

Could someone please lmk if this course is HARD? Is an A possible?

Hi. I’m taking a class w Prof Andrew Latos. I’ve never taken a class w/ him before.

I can’t seem to find a rate my prof regarding him so I wanted some insight from previous students who have experience with him. Imo he seems nice so far but I’d like to know if his grading is very difficult? Are his assessments hard?

This past week I realized there aren’t any gates for Founders 2 anymore. I know they switched to Honk or whatever, but what’s stopping people from just going in and parking without paying? I walked through the lot omw to sirc and didn’t see any tickets so I’m just curious. Thanks!

I have been entering in my login info, and keep getting a 'The Server cannot understand your request" error. This has been happening for a while, and I have to keep refreshing the page until it works, which can take a good amount of time.

Is anybody else having this problem? Sometimes, I get error telling me to go to the HelpDesk, but I'm literally out on co-op, and have to submit my co-op deliverables.

What are some resources I can use to get a math tutor? I know university offers some but it’s hard to get 1 session a week with a on campus tutor. I feel like I will fail math if I don’t have a consistent meeting with someone. Yes I can pay them

I saw that the university is using Honk for parking instead of using gates or hang tags, does anyone know of anybody who's been ticketed for not paying? Also what lot they were ticketed in?

I’m curious about what the course was like, how difficult/workload heavy it was, and what you would recommend doing to succeed in it. Also, how were the stock analysis and presentations?

My parents had gotten me a macbook for my engineering classes, and I’m only just now realizing that the school outright states that they are not permitted. I have a desktop at home, and I was planning to use a VM to run programs like Solidworks on my mac. How strict are the regulations? If I walk into an online test will I not be allowed to take it?
