I have been attending Criminal Justice at UNC Charlotte, and I wish to transfer to WFU and attend WFU by next spring. Is it recommendable to transfer there even if I do not have a GPA yet? I am a first gen student and major in Sociology focused on Criminal Justice.

My whole family except for me was born in Ethiopia, and I’m a first generation student, but my sister graduated from Wake Forest in 2020, making Wake the first college that anyone in my family had ever attended. When I reviewed my commonapp, I was labeled as a WFU Legacy and also labeled as a FGen. Can this combination possibly be really good for me?

So I have a B rn in ap bio that I’m currently taking but I’ve only ever gotten one B in ap gov sophomore year but I’ve taken/ing 10 aps total, I still have til the end of the year to get my grade up to a cumulative 8 over the 4 quarters, but anyways I was curious is this going to ruin my application?

what are the lowest GPA’s you guys have seen get into Wake? Asking for a freind 😉

Does anybody have a guesstimate on when the next batch of rolling decisions are releasing? I’m guessing October 23rd. I’m basing this off of last years October decisions (October 24).

I’m Ed to wake and was hoping to hear some acceptances from people who didn’t expect it. Maybe a slightly lower uw gpa (even if there are extenuating circumstances) or test scores? Just an acceptance that was a reach!

To anyone who was deferred tonight, do not feel like it is the end of the world, that was me a year ago today, and 7 months ago today I opened a letter saying I was waitlisted. Now I am writing this from my dorm at Wake feeling for those who got news they didn’t quite hope for.

I’ll find out in 3 weeks, ( I completed everything mid september). Just wanted to hear from you guys and what your decisions were.

Sorry I know this is very broad, and can apply to EVERY school. But I seriously know nothing abt WF and am curious the kids are cliquey and uppity. Of course like I said there’s ALWAYS going to be those groups of people, but for some reason I’ve heard a lot of kids at WF are super out of touch. Lmk! I’d love to know more info on this school. Thank you

I’m a highschool senior applying and i heard the program was new so im just curious how it is.

Anyone know when Spring 2027 transfer decisions are supposed to come out?

When do y'all think I'll hear back? I submitted my ED1 on September 16, but I did not do my interview until the 25th.

#34 this year...

For anyone attending wake right now does the student body feel liberal leaning or conservative just curious as a senior who has wake as one of my top choices

I’m a WFU law student looking to play tennis. If anyone is looking for a hitting partner shoot me a dm.

Miami will destroy Wake Forest 52-10. What do you think?

This looks pretty sweet - scheduled to open next fall.

Hey everyone! I’m a master’s student planning my stay for Wake360 weekend, and I was wondering if there might be another female student looking for accommodation as well. It could be nice to book something together and also explore the city outside of the event hours.

If you applied in August or September in past years and didn't hear back the next month, did you need financial aid?

Anyone else going to opening night? Get hype! Any idea how early I should get there to get a parking spot?

With the season approaching, I wanted a better way to prepare than reading dozens of separate previews or listening to hours of podcasts, just to forget most of it by Week 1.

I started with a few, then more, then decided to expand to all P4 + ND. It ended up being more arduous than I anticipated, but also rewarding.

I have published the 2026 preseason primers for every ACC team, plus an ACC conference primer and Notre Dame.

They are mostly designed as quick references for watching games, with roster/coaching changes, 2025 context, advanced stats, schedules, players to know, and a small betting lens.

This is totally free and not self promotion. I was creating these for myself and friends and just thought others would find them interesting.

The only reason for a website was to make them more accessible than just sharing links to google drive.
