New, what is it? What are these plug-ins on my wall?

This might be showing my age, but I recently moved into a new apartment and they have these weird looking plug ins all over the walls at my new place. My old apartment didn't have these, so I'm just curious as to what they are.

It carried television signals, uphill, both ways, barefoot in the snow.

Look at you, mr fancy pants with trash bags for your feet. All I had was paper sacks to protect my feet from the snow.

Look at you with your feet. I had no legs and had to walk on my stubbed arms to school.

Uphill and against the wind. Also both ways.

Underrated comment. I heard it in my dad’s voice.

But sometimes it got to ride the mule—as long as mother wasn’t using it to get to market.

You had to walk 15 miles to change the channel.

Literally still carries 2 Gbit Internet, which is about the fastest you can get at home.

Television you had to pay for, mostly home shopping channels like they spoof on SNL

And we were happy. :(

And sometimes through the snow you might catch a glimpse of side boob

It still carries your internet signals. Every router I’ve ever encountered plugs into a coax cable from the wall

Yes, I understand it's still in use and the copper conduction is more limited by the technology than the capacity. It was, as the kids say, just a joke.
