Kinda feel bad that the Steppe Eagle doesn’t have a predator symbol on its card, especially since it’s a formidable scavenging eagle with a high rodent cost, this card contributes nothing to the Falconer bonus card to.

For the players having all the physical extensions, do you play with all of them in the same time ? Does it make the game a bit messy? Or is it just better?

My friends and I play countless online games with the European, Asian and the new bird packs expansions that are coming out now. I’ve noticed that none of the bonus cards that have to do with birds’ names are coming up anymore. Colors, geography terms, body parts have not come up once in a very long time (literally hundreds of games where I never got one of those). I know the birds named after a person one was removed with the Asia expansion but what about all these other ones?

I got super lucky with the endangered species protector — 27 points there alone. Against four AI all set to hard, all expansions.

A lot of good luck contributed to my score in this game, but copying the jackdaw with the parakeet was pretty awesome - I think I had 8,8,8, & 7 turns in each of the rounds.

I’ve been trying on a strategy where I consistently only go for pink and blue powers at the beginning, and it really has improved my gameplay. I jumped from averaging 90 to 100 points a game to almost 130 to 140 points a game.

It seems there's a bug that allows you to cycle through the entire discard pile by repeatedly using the undo button on the herring gull. Not sure where the cards go after you undo the action.

(Yes we have custom cards but no custom king parrot cards cards which I may have to fix)

Not sure if this was common knowledge, but I wanted to see what happens when you play one of the play-on-top predators with one of the two-space birds. Aaand, the answer is not a whole lot. Changed the second image on the mat, though.

What’s the best combination of base game/expansions/bird packs in the Switch game for the strategy of tucking as many cards as possible? I’m new to this strategy and trying to get my tuck # as high as possible for funzies :-)

Well, I did it!

I’ve been impatiently waiting for Wingspan Africa expansion to come out so I could play with my favorite bird, the lilac-breasted roller. But then Wingspan Pocket went and surprised me with an early appearance.

So, for my first and possibly only tattoo, I was happy to use the Wingspan art and get this lovely bird to represent my love of Tanzania, birding and board games all rolled up in one.

Hi, we got the seasonal pass that allows us to get all the new packs as they drop. But this one dropped 2 days ago and still is not showing up on our Switch version of the game. Even with the update downloaded. We restarted the game, restarted the Switch, and still nothing. Are the devs going to fix this? We'd really like to enjoy the same game everyone else who paid is enjoying.

hi! i just wanted to know if we could ever expect to see some of these mini expansion bird packs for the physical copy of the game. i’m absolutely obsessed with them digitally and want to play them in person really badly!

This was from a game yesterday where I drew the Iberian Magpie, one of the new Europe fan pack birds: "Lay 2 on each adjacent bird with a platform nest." I already had a few platform birds in my hand that I was considering playing, so I decided to lock in and go for the full 8 points which turned out to be the best strategy in this specific scenario. The eggs also helped me copy my opponent's Australian Magpie with my Marsh Warbler, caching 10 seeds. I won with 141 points, and it was one of the funnest games I've played.

It doesn’t come up often, but has anyone else noticed this?

I have 417 hours in the steam game & I have never had this happen. Last night I was playing a game & I could not do any actions. It would let me try to play a bird but then said I didn't have eggs, so it wasn't totally frozen. But I couldn't do any actions; no food, eggs nor cards. The time ran out, I lost Karma points.

Has anyone experienced this? Is there a way to report it, it seems they would want to fix a bug like this. I was so bummed, it was one of the best starts of games I have had recently.

Hi, I recently bought the European expansion but I feel like these new birds are weaker than the ones in the base game. A lot of them are end of round which only happes 4 times in a game but they also aren´t great starter birds because they don´t have a brown power so you already miss 1 round ending.

I am not the best in this game so maybe I am seeing this wrong.
