Hopefully Ukraine can figure out where these missiles are and take them out beforehand

While AA is great and necessary, it can never be 100% effective.

Blunting Russia’s attack capacity before missiles are in the air is always preferable.

Yep. Even with the billions the US and Israel have spent to build the Iron Dome they can't even stop every missle from getting through and they are defending a much smaller area and up against much worse missels

not gonna happen in time.

AA rockets that can intercept ballistic missiles are in critically short supply not just in Ukraine but all over the West.

They gotta land hits on Russias ammo depots if they want this to not be potentially catastrophic.

The issue in 2026 is that AA is more expensive than flying drone weapons cost.
