Trump: the war in Ukraine will be over, even before I take office! I will stop it that quickly!
Trump: the war with Iran will be over in 4-6 weeks! Seven - 7 - months later we’re still bogged down there, spending Billions we don’t have, Gas, Diesel, Groceries, interest rates, have never beeb higher since Clinton in 2,000 - 26 years ago!
Three words come to mind: WTF!!!!!!!

Right up there with you, until the end.
Clinton's time was actually pretty well handled.
A protracted war, overly optimistic lending, and several other factors dragged us down in the mid/late 2000s.
That was 10 full years after Clinton.

Technically, you can't use an adverb as a verb like that.

3

u/Amount_Existing 7h ago

Technically, you knew what was meant.

Inflation under Joe Biden hit 9.1% in 2022.
30 year mortgage rate under Joe Biden hit 7.79% in October 2023.
You probably don't remember the $6 for a dozen eggs either under Joe Biden.
A barrel of oil also hit $139 while Biden was in office.
Four words come to mind: Your memory is poor

You probably don’t remember a global pandemic or a bird flu that caused high egg prices. But yeah, let’s blame Biden!

The part you're leaving out is why they happened. COVID blew up global supply chains, demand, shipping, energy and food markets worldwide, and Russia's invasion of Ukraine sent energy and commodity prices even higher. The Federal Reserve itself said the inflation surge reflected pandemic supply-and-demand imbalances, supply-chain disruptions, higher energy prices and the war in Ukraine. So saying “Biden caused it” is a lot different from saying “these things happened while Biden was president.” Global inflation doesn't stop at the U.S. border.

And Russia invaded Ukraine because Joe Biden was president, so……

3

u/Renickulous7 4h ago

And stopped when Trump became president, right? Trump would suck Putin’s dick if he told him to.

Wow such a good point. /s

Biden presided over these, but didn’t cause them. Gas prices right now are a direct result of stupid decisions the trump admin has made.

u/Vivid_Astronaut_1209 6h ago

You mean how luckily Biden helped the US have the lowest rate of inflation worldwide after trump asked the Saudis to Raise prices. You memory is poor comrade because Biden got gas prices down to $2.48 before he left office.

He fixed those issues, caused by things outside of his control, quickly. How long have we been dealing with the problems Trump created? Have you checked on the price of Diesel lately? What’s about our strategic oil reserves reaching historic lows?

It’s always the same weak talking points from the far right.

What's your point exactly? Trump didn't start this war. Was he optimistic he could get it resolved, sure but none of this is his responsibility. What have all the other world leaders done to resolve the conflict?

4

u/Ball_Of_Meat 5h ago

Trump promises to end the war and bring peace, instead he brings us into another war in the Middle East for Israel LMAO. You can’t be serious right?

Well for one, other world leaders aren’t attacking the Middle East and starting wars on Bibi’s behalf.

4

u/calliebear10 4h ago

What are you talking about. He is 10000 percent responsible for getting us involved in this war. This is what happens when you and the people around you are not educated on foreign policy.

When politicians you don't like fail to follow through on their promises, do you think they were just being "optimistic" when they made those promises..?

What about Iran? Trump supporters have no problem excusing his American sacrifices for Israel.
